In this world, there is no such profession as a doctor, or rather, the ergence of magic and other extraordinary powers has significantly suppressed the ergence of the doctor profession.

Similar to Austin’s previous life in the Western Middle Ages, the so-called "doctor" treatnt thods were mostly bloodletting treatnts, and there was no discovery of certain herbs in the wild that could treat certain diseases of the body.

With the popularization of divine techniques by the church and various healing potions, the intellectuals at the upper echelons saw no need to research these things. Those with knowledge strived to beco scholars or mages, and those with ans would directly receive divine healing from the church or purchase potions when ill. Consequently, without the involvent of intellectuals, even if farrs or other lower classes occasionally discovered a secret recipe or two, it would ultimately get lost over ti and fade away.

In this world, the soil for the survival of the doctor profession is exceedingly barren.

Even among the many beastn in the Kawa Great Forest, apart from one or two tribes occasionally discovering and cherishing certain plant properties, they ultimately failed to form a complete dical system.

During the initial stages of the Dragon Nest Tribe’s construction, Austin discovered this flaw.

In fact, Austin was well aware that as the Dragon Nest Tribe expanded in this world where one struggles against the heavens for survival, a mature dical system is incredibly important for the developnt of a tribe. After all, there was no beastman priest under Austin, and the costs of those divine techniques or magical potions ant these treatnts could not be widely accessible.

Just like in the human world, for the lower-class farrs, falling ill essentially ant death. Burdened with heavy taxes every day, they could not possibly save up to buy healing potions or avail themselves of divine healing opportunities. That was precisely because these treatnts were far beyond the affordability of ordinary farrs and couldn’t be popularized.

As the population of the Dragon Nest Tribe gradually increased, until it gathered thousands, or even tens of thousands of people in the future, even if beastman priests appeared later, they wouldn’t be able to provide for the sick beastn at the base level.

To solve this problem, after Rodney and others were bitten during their exploration of the Spider Cave, and Austin found the antidote within it, Austin ca up with an idea.

An idea to recreate the herbal treatnt system of traditional Chinese dicine from his previous life in this otherworld.

It was an enormous project, and Austin didn’t spend his energy on it. Instead, he let Quik, the fox-faced man with an interest in it, begin various accumulation experints, attempting treatnt on beastn injured during daily production, and recording all kinds of data to see if they could recreate the traditional Chinese dicine treatnt system from Austin’s previous life in this otherworld.

At the sa ti, during the conquest of various tribes, they interrogated the remaining mbers of each beastman tribe, recorded the properties of certain plants occasionally discovered by those tribes, or collected their fortunate discoveries of secret recipes, to comprehensively try and gradually establish the dical system of the Dragon Nest Tribe.

Initially, the dical system established by Quik was practically synonymous with dread among the beastn in the entire tribe.

But as ti passed and various attempts were made, the envisioned dical system eventually began to establish its foundation step by step and gradually started to show its impact.

And now, amidst the heavy casualties of this great war, Quik’s dical system finally played a significant role.

Under Vini’s coordination, houses were cleared out as infirmaries, and large amounts of herbs were gathered from the mountains and forests, either applied externally or decocted as dicine. Broken bones of beastn were straightened and tied with sticks, and many beastn lay resting in the infirmaries, with the air filled with the scent of herbs.

Although the dical system was not yet fully established, because of the many unforeseen injuries that occurred during the heavy production activities of the Dragon Nest Tribe, Quik and the others initially didn’t lack injured beastn to experint on, so they were already able to provide simple care and treatnt for external injuries.

Fortunately, the injuries from this war were mostly external, and the experience accumulated from daily production activities could also be smoothly applied to these injured beastn.

With dical care and the assistance of various herbs, many beastn began to recover.

If it were other beastman tribes, lacking treatnt and food support, perhaps only a tenth or two of the injured beastn would survive after the battles. But now, with the dical system Austin had Quik establish, the survival rate of the injured beastn reached over ninety percent.

Moreover, with the experience gained from this extensive treatnt, the treatnt system beca more mature, gaining more experience in treating external injuries.

It is conceivable that with the passage of ti, soday this rudintary dical system will eventually develop into sothing significant.

....

As ti passed, the injured beastn began gradually recovering under dical care, and the entire Dragon Nest Tribe gradually entered a state of steady developnt.

However, as the master of the Dragon Nest Tribe, Austin didn’t show up much. Perhaps due to the severe injuries from the great battle, or maybe it was growth, Austin hid inside the Dragon Nest, in slumber, not remaining awake for long periods as before. Only occasionally did Vini or Quik and others co to see him, reporting on the tribe’s affairs and making various decisions.

During the tis he was awake, Austin provided the general strategy for the future developnt of the Dragon Nest Tribe. He could clearly feel that this ti he genuinely needed to slumber for a while.

Though perhaps due to his soul, Austin wasn’t like other young dragons who would sleep for a decade or two. His various production habits and growth rates also differed greatly from the dragon species in his mory. However, slumbering for a while was inevitable.

In the past dragon life, Austin had never truly tried to slumber, at most just feeling drowsy for a ti. However, back then, being alone and weak, if he truly slept, he might have found himself becoming another giant beast’s al in his slumbering state. After toughing it out for a while, things would be fine.

Now, having gathered a group of clan forces under his leadership, there’s no doubt that within a radius of dozens of miles, it could be considered an undisputed overlord-level force. With sufficient security and protection, Austin didn’t mind slumbering for a while.

After arranging the general strategy for the Dragon Nest Tribe’s future developnt, Austin could no longer resist the drowsiness and fell into slumber.

But it’s fortunate that he feels his slumbering growth period is estimated to be only between half a month to a month and won’t delay too many matters.
