July Quinn glanced at the claw Kyle Keaton had on her shoulder, then turned her head to see Claire Quill winking at her, as if teasing her, "Good choice of man."
July Quinn forced a smile and decided to introduce Claire Quill to Kyle Keaton: "My friend, Claire Quill, the official envoy sent to participate in the boxing tournant this ti."
"This is Kyle Keaton, my man."
After the introduction, Claire Quill looked thoughtful.
She felt like she had heard the na "Kyle Keaton" sowhere before.
But before Claire Quill could co up with an answer, she heard the man coldly ask, "Since when did you have an official envoy friend? Why do I know nothing about this?"
Claire Quill: "..."
Was it her illusion, or did July Quinn’s man seem to see her as a rival in love?
Could it be just because of her overly robust build?
While Claire Quill was questioning life, July Quinn had already started explaining: "I just t her."
After explaining, July Quinn ignored Kyle Keaton and continued chatting with Claire Quill.
"Your foot injury shouldn’t hurt today, right?"
"Yeah, it doesn’t hurt at all. The team doctor was amazed by the effectiveness of your dicine and asked where I got it."
"A friend gave that dicine as a gift. It’s not for sale."
The two won were deep in conversation, leaving Kyle Keaton feeling quite neglected. He was just wondering how to send Claire Quill away when her phone rang.
Claire Quill answered the call, and whatever the person said on the other end made her expression change.
"Yes, I’ll be right over."
After hanging up, she said, "Vice President Kidd is here, I have to go and gather."
Claire Quill, in her hurry to gather, wasn’t paying attention to July Quinn and Kyle Keaton.
So she didn’t notice the noticeable frown on both July Quinn and Kyle Keaton’s foreheads when she ntioned Roman Kidd.
"Go take care of your business." July Quinn waved farewell to Claire Quill and then proceeded to make so vegetable salad.
But Kyle Keaton suddenly grabbed her hand and asked, "Are you joining the boxing tournant because of that person just now?"
Based on the chat between July Quinn and Claire Quill, and considering the injury on Claire Quill’s ankle, Kyle Keaton could easily connect the dots.
"Yeah, her foot injury’s not suitable for competition, or she might end up with a limp."
July Quinn explained nonchalantly.
But it was precisely this tone that provoked Kyle Keaton, making him erupt in anger.
"If she competes, she’ll end up with a limp; what about you? You’ve never trained at all, your face isn’t even as big as soone else’s fist, you’ll end up dead or crippled!"
She’s considering others’ well-being, but has she ever thought about herself?
Moreover, has she considered what Kyle Keaton would do if sothing happened to her?
But as he was shouting in urgency, July Quinn just said, "I’ll be fine, you should worry about soone else."
"In any case, I forbid you from entering the boxing tournant."
Why worry about others? They have nothing to do with him.
He just doesn’t want to lose her, but why doesn’t this woman understand?
Kyle Keaton solemnly declared, only for July Quinn to say, "I’ll participate anyway even if you forbid ."
"July Quinn!" Kyle Keaton stared at July Quinn, a different kind of seriousness in his black pupils: "If you do go and compete, we’re done."
After throwing out those words, Kyle Keaton turned around and left without looking back.
July Quinn watched the man’s departing figure, slightly confused.
