"Uncle?"

Nathan Jacobs seed bewildered by his uncle’s unexpected rejection.

Finally, Miles Jacobs looked up from his pile of docunts and glanced at him.

"Nathan Jacobs, you think making up a friend will hide what you’ve done online?"

"Since cheating has made you an ex-boyfriend, just stay quiet like a corpse. How dare you resurrect to tarnish your ex-girlfriend?"

Before Nathan could reply, Miles continued to mock: "It’s embarrassing for you. Is this what a human does?"

Nathan Jacobs: "..."

He had forgotten that his uncle was only a few years older and enjoyed gossip, always at the forefront of eating the drama.

Clearly, his uncle watched the fiasco when he sared July Quinn online.

Nathan knew further arguing was pointless, so he explained the situation sincerely.

"Uncle, I just wanted to help Nina. When July left, she took the Gala Entertainnt team with her, leaving Nina isolated. Their star player’s relationship was exposed, so I thought to divert public attention to help her."

"Did you ever think why July would take the team? It’s because Quinn Group doesn’t treat her right, giving Nina the show she created and all the credit."

At this point, Miles changed his tone: "Or maybe you do know this, but since Nina’s now your girlfriend, you blad July?"

These revelations were all over the internet, and Miles easily pieced it together.

Predictably, Nathan was speechless.

Miles wasn’t expecting an answer. "Alright, I won’t have the legal team support you. Give up on that thought."

"But uncle, mishandling this could affect The Jacobs Group’s stock price."

Coming here, Nathan anticipated Miles might refuse to help.

After all, their family’s relationship with Miles had always been tense.

He’d prepared a full set of argunts, including those focusing on interests.

No matter what, Miles was a businessman, naturally valuing interests.

But Nathan hadn’t foreseen Miles’ utter disdain.

"You’re overthinking. You’re currently suspended, how could you affect The Jacobs Group’s stock price?"

Nathan felt taphorically slapped multiple tis, his face burning.

He tried saying sothing, but Miles didn’t give him the chance: "If there’s nothing else, go ho and think about how to act like a decent person."

After saying this, he had his secretary drag Nathan out of the office.

With Nathan gone, the world seed much quieter.

Nonetheless, Miles made a call to security, ensuring Nathan left without encountering or arguing with July Quinn.

After all, she’s our golden mother now!

Even if the golden father isn’t too keen on her yet, given today’s ’hmms’ and ’ahs’ in the office, she seems poised to firmly take the role.

At such tis, he especially didn’t want his foolish nephew to upset her!

July Quinn returned to the small apartnt, where Kyle Keaton was already ho.

He was wearing gray loungewear, busy in the kitchen.

With his height and looks, even the kitchen backdrop was eye-catching.

"Honey, what deliciousness are you making?"

July admired him for a few monts before being distracted by the aroma of food.

"None for you."

Kyle was frying steak, raising an eyebrow as July slipped from under his arm to the stove.

"It must be really tasty, I’ll enjoy it soon."

Kyle Keaton: "..."

How does this woman manage to consistently ignore what’s being said!

To nab the steak, July keeps showering praises.

"So wield guns, taking down concrete walls and charming girls. You, my dear, wield a spatula, frying steak and loving ."

Just as she finished, she felt a pinch on her waist.
