"It’s you who caused to be ostracized by the entire class, and it’s also you who got expelled from school by the teachers."
Mrs. Vance used to be very beautiful and gentle, the most popular girl in the class, and even the teacher liked her very much, always wanting her to be a class leader.
If she had continued her studies smoothly at that ti, she would definitely have had a bright future like everyone else.
But everything changed dramatically after Rhonda Hale transferred to their class.
Rhonda couldn’t stand that Mrs. Vance, who ca from a worse background, was prettier and more popular than her.
So, she lent Mrs. Vance a pen worth tens of thousands, a gift from her father.
Lost in mories, Mrs. Vance let go of Rhonda and started rambling:
"I was stupid back then, didn’t know a pen could be worth tens of thousands. When you lent it to , I thought it was just like my cheap pens and used it for a couple of classes. But after school, you actually told the teacher I stole your pen and staged a ’caught red-handed’ scene!"
"From that day on, my life changed completely. Classmates saw as a thief, shunned and excluded ! The teacher also doubted my character, targeted , forcing to drop out and enter society early. After entering society, I was undermined due to lack of knowledge, which led astray..."
Seeing Mrs. Vance getting more agitated, Rhonda seized the chance to run away.
Being the other party involved in the incident, Rhonda knew all too well that everything Mrs. Vance said was true.
So now she was truly afraid of Mrs. Vance, afraid that she would settle all the old and new scores.
But Rhonda couldn’t escape. Soon, Mrs. Vance grabbed her hair and pulled her back in front of her.
"It’s you, you are the root of all my pain, it’s you who led to my imprisonnt. And now that I run into you here, don’t you think it would be a sha if I didn’t seize this heaven-sent opportunity to get back at you?"
As Mrs. Vance spoke, her emotions grew more intense, and she pulled harder on Rhonda’s hair.
"You filthy bitch! You reputation-damaging whore! I am going to kill you before I get out of here!"
At that mont, Rhonda felt her hairline retreating several centiters.
Tears stread down Rhonda’s face.
As the privileged daughter of the Hale Family, she had never been beaten or scolded like this.
She swore that if she survived this, she would make sure Mrs. Vance t a terribly miserable end.
Perhaps heaven heard her prayers. Just as Mrs. Vance was about to smash her head against the wall, a prison guard suddenly arrived.
"What are you doing?"
The guard’s reprimand finally stopped Mrs. Vance’s violence.
When she released Rhonda’s hair, Rhonda slid weakly to the ground, like a dead dog.
At this mont, the guard said again, "4836 Rhonda, you have a visitor."
Rhonda had been hoping for the lawyer to bring good news, so when she heard soone was visiting, she thought it was the lawyer and quickly went to et the visitor, caring little about her appearance.
But upon entering the visiting room, she saw it was not the lawyer, but a man wearing a baseball cap.
When Rhonda got closer, her face lit up with excitent.
"Dad? Did you co to take ho?"
But at this mont, Simon Hale gestured for silence.
Rhonda was no fool and imdiately realized that her father might not have co in the normal way, so she refrained from talking and sat down in front of Simon.
When father and daughter were finally reunited, Simon’s eyes reddened with heartache as he clasped Rhonda’s hands: "Rhonda, how did you beco like this?"
