In Aethelgard, July Quinn has a few businesses.
Previously, Liam Monroe managed them, but now Liam has returned ho.
So, July Quinn took the rare opportunity to visit Aethelgard and wanted to check out her businesses there.
Unexpectedly, her words made so people mistakenly think that this country bumpkin wanted to travel around while competing abroad.
Sure enough, Patrick Sullivan couldn’t help but tease, "We’re here for the competition, and you’re treating it like a vacation?"
"So people have no money but still want a free trip abroad!" Bianca White joined in mocking July Quinn.
Although Walter Wright didn’t say as much as the two did, he was also sowhat displeased, "We’re just here for the competition, it’s best not to wander around, lest we get caught off guard."
"Then letting soone co here to see , is that okay?" July Quinn asked again.
Since she couldn’t go out, she thought it was reasonable to call soone over to discuss the business situation.
"You know people in Aethelgard?"
"Trying to act important!"
Patrick Sullivan and Bianca White continued to ridicule in the corner.
"This place operates under semi-restricted managent, calling people over might..." Walter Wright was about to argue against July Quinn.
But Thomas Grant spoke up at this mont, "It’s possible."
"Helmsman Grant, this isn’t suitable."
Walter Wright didn’t expect Thomas Grant would again unconditionally open the back door for July Quinn.
Patrick Sullivan and Bianca White were also unwilling and stared angrily at Thomas Grant.
But Thomas Grant said, "Lord Keaton is the main sponsor of the competition this ti, I believe the competition will provide convenience to Lord Keaton."
Actually, Thomas Grant was also hinting to July Quinn that a certain Lord would co to see her.
As long as July Quinn ntions it to Kyle Keaton, she can either go out to et soone or have soone co to her.
July Quinn understood the hint from Thomas Grant, but the others didn’t catch this aning.
Especially Bianca White, who was still upset, "To trouble Lord Keaton for such trivial matters, she really has the nerve."
Thomas Grant: "..."
She really does have the nerve, considering she’s the Keaton Family’s mistress.
But Thomas Grant knew that July Quinn hadn’t disclosed this identity publicly yet, nor did she want to, obviously for her own reasons.
So Thomas Grant didn’t say much, just added, "Enough with the nonsense, let’s go in and draw lots for positions."
Thus, Patrick Sullivan and Bianca White, no matter how dissatisfied, could only proceed to draw lots.
The results ca out quickly.
July Quinn got the last position, Patrick Sullivan was positioned in front of her.
Wendy Tierney was in the first position, while Bianca White was in the second.
Seeing this outco, Thomas Grant and Walter Wright’s faces soured.
"Damn, what bad luck, eting her in several competitions and now positioned so closely, it’s deliberately vexing us."
Walter Wright couldn’t help but curse aloud.
Although Thomas Grant didn’t curse, he was visibly annoyed.
July Quinn saw this and was a bit puzzled, "What’s the matter? Wasn’t she your teammate before?"
She still rembered Wendy Tierney a bit, recalling that Kyle Keaton personally expelled Wendy from the team.
"She was before, but now she’s joined Aethelgard’s Vanguard Corps."
When Thomas Grant ntioned this, there was an undeniable disappointnt in his eyes.
Walter Wright also couldn’t help but shout, "Any team could be joined, why did she have to join our rival?"
After shouting, Walter Wright continued, "I heard she boasted in front of Aethelgard’s Vanguard Corps leadership that she would help their team snag the gold prize this ti."
As he spoke, Walter Wright grew increasingly frustrated, "Her skill is indeed the best among this batch of generals. Now being placed in the first position, she’ll undoubtedly put a lot of pressure on others. If the gold prize is really taken by her, how will we explain this to the officials?"
