Leo Upton and the others realized that pleading was useless and could only frustratingly begin running with weights.
Although Lord Keaton does not directly manage The Keaton Family’s Vanguard Corps, the special team still belongs to him.
So essentially, they must also follow any of this man’s orders.
Other mbers of the Vanguard Corps saw Leo Upton and the others being punished and naturally didn’t dare to speak up recklessly anymore.
Thomas Grant saw that Lord Keaton still had a cold face, and he could get caught in the crossfire at any mont, so he hurriedly announced, "Everyone, let’s applaud to welco the new general."
After saying this, he also quickly took the lead in clapping.
Everyone else quickly followed with applause, which soared into the sky and echoed around the large training ground.
Although Leo Upton and the others were punished beforehand, these vanguard mbers had no clue why Lord Keaton was truly angry; their straightforward thinking led them to believe it was just the noise during lining up that led to the punishnt.
They were still very welcoming of July Quinn, who was both attractive and well-built, joining them.
Her presence added a splash of color to their Vanguard Corps.
Even if in the end, this stunning beauty belonged to no one, she added so excitent and passion to their otherwise monotonous mission lives.
But the loud applause brought mixed feelings to so.
Aside from these big guys, July Quinn was also delighted.
No one doesn’t want to be welcod.
The only one troubled was Bianca White.
It should be noted that when she joined the Vanguard Corps a while ago, Thomas Grant didn’t specifically gather the other mbers to welco her, let alone take the lead in applauding.
Additionally, the other mbers didn’t show the kind of excitent they did upon seeing July Quinn.
In comparison, Bianca naturally felt neglected and slighted, and her heart was extrely upset.
Her parents had sacrificed their lives to save Kyle Keaton, so in a sense, she should be regarded and cared for more than anyone else in the Vanguard Corps.
But now they were neglecting her like this for a newcor like July Quinn?
She made a ntal note of their faces, especially Thomas Grant, who led the applause welco.
Just wait!
Soday, when she becos the matriarch of The Keaton Family, she’ll show them what she’s made of.
Perhaps it was Bianca’s furious, hateful gaze that was too obvious, but July Quinn suddenly looked her way.
"Ms. White, you seem sowhat unwelcoming to ?"
Bianca, frustrated with not having a chance to tear at July Quinn, didn’t expect her to hand her the opportunity, and imdiately questioned coldly:
"I am not unwelcoming; I am just curious why Miss Quinn can enter our Vanguard Corps, which is more exceptional than any official capacity, without participating in any assessnts?"
Listening to the verbal skirmish between the two won, Thomas Grant imdiately sensed sothing was off.
So he busily spoke up before July Quinn had a chance to respond.
"Here’s the thing, July Quinn was a promising talent I had discovered earlier, so I personally recomnded her to join our Vanguard Corps."
Senior officers in The Keaton Family’s Vanguard Corps have the right to recomnd outstanding candidates to join, and Thomas Grant was exercising this right.
"A promising talent?"
Thomas Grant’s response, clearly, did not satisfy Bianca White.
"Then may I ask Helmsman Grant, in what aspect exactly does Miss Quinn excel? Why not demonstrate it for us all to be convinced?"
Bianca was certain that July Quinn, such a pretty but empty vase, didn’t have any real skills.
She must have used her charm on Thomas Grant to try and get close for personal gain, to snatch Lord Keaton.
Hence, she had to expose July Quinn’s true colors in front of everyone, ensuring she couldn’t remain in this unit.
