In the end, Mason Shelby still carried that large stack of reports and entered Kyle Keaton’s office.

Kyle Keaton was still buried in a pile of docunts.

Even though he didn’t show much expression, just watching him work on the computer from afar gave a chilly feeling down the spine.

Before Mason could speak, Kyle, buried in his files, suddenly ordered coldly, "Speak if you have sothing to say, otherwise get out."

Mason took a deep breath, steadied his heartbeat, and as usual, placed the sorted docunts in front of Kyle.

"These are the reports from Manager Wright, Manager Nova, and Director Paige. Also, these docunts need your signature."

But Kyle glanced at the already sorted files and asked coldly, "Who pays your salary?"

"Of course, you do." Mason was dumbfounded by the question but answered honestly.

"I thought your salary was paid by them. Otherwise, why would you do whatever they tell you to do?" The man spoke coldly.

Mason swiftly started to retrieve the docunts: "I’ll just take them back and slap them in their faces."

He wanted to prove with his actions that he was perfectly clear-headed.

Just as he’d gathered half the files, he suddenly heard Kyle ask, "Do you know what’s going on when a woman was always looking for you but suddenly stopped sending you ssages these past few days?"

Mason was stunned.

He seed to know why there wasn’t any issue with the Keaton Group these days, but Lord Keaton had turned into a tyrannosaurus!

But when Kyle noticed Mason staring at him, he suddenly added, "Not , it’s a friend of mine."

How could he let his secretary know that he got ghosted by that wretched woman, July Quinn, and still hold onto his dignity?

Mason: "..."

This is probably what’s called conjuring up nonexistent friends.

But the woman who dared to suddenly snub Lord Keaton must be July Quinn.

Apart from her, Mason couldn’t think of any other woman who would dare be so bold with Lord Keaton.

After careful consideration, Mason spoke up, "Lord Keaton, may I ask you..."

But as he said this, he could feel the coldness in Lord Keaton’s eyes turn into a tangible knife, resting against his neck.

He quickly changed his tone: "What happened between your friend and that woman before he got ignored?"

"They spent a wonderful night together!" Kyle looked at Mason and said almost through gritted teeth.

Mason: "..."

Did Lord Keaton hit a ho run with July Quinn?

But how could he be snubbed after a ho run?

Normally, isn’t it the man who ignores the woman?

Mason’s expression suddenly changed, seemingly thinking of sothing.

"What’s wrong?" Kyle was the first to notice his odd expression.

"Well... I thought of a possibility, but I’m afraid if I say it, your friend might get angry."

"Just say it, he’s not here, so even if he’s angry, he can’t do anything to you."

Kyle coldly ordered.

But Mason was still very conflicted because he knew the person in question was Lord Keaton.

"Speak up."

Kyle’s urging once again lowered the temperature in the office significantly.

So Mason could only bite the bullet and say it.

"After spending the night together, maybe the reason the woman suddenly lost interest is because your... your friend’s size didn’t et her expectations?"

Is this doubting his ability?

Kyle imdiately slamd the table and stood up.

Mason was so frightened he nearly fell to the ground.

"Lord Keaton, I’m just throwing out a hypothetical. Besides, it’s your friend’s size that didn’t et expectations, not yours..."
