Leave?
How could Joy Quinn possibly leave?
She had only just realized Victor Hawthorne’s identity was so noble, and now she wished she could drag the marriage bureau here and get married on the spot.
So, there was absolutely no way she would leave.
"Leo, I didn’t an to cause trouble for Victor. I was just scared from being followed, that’s all."
Finishing her words, she looked at Victor Hawthorne with misty eyes: "Victor, please don’t let them kick out, alright?"
She wanted to add that today was Victor Hawthorne’s birthday and she planned to prepare a birthday gift for him later.
But before she could finish her sentence, Leo interrupted her:
"Housekeeper, why are you still standing there? Get her out imdiately."
Leo wasn’t insensitive; he genuinely feared that this woman’s involvent might strain his relationship with Victor Hawthorne.
Their social network among the wealthy second generation was extrely important.
Especially soone like Victor Hawthorne, the sole heir of one of the four major wealthy families; cultivating a good relationship with them had enormous benefits for one’s future standing in this circle.
Therefore, despite not thinking highly of Joy Quinn, Leo still wanted to use her invitation to show goodwill to Victor Hawthorne.
Who would’ve thought that Joy Quinn would misunderstand Victor Hawthorne and act like she had beco Leo’s girlfriend, wanting him to confront Victor.
Leo didn’t want Victor Hawthorne to misunderstand their relationship and grow distant.
So, he was eager to send Joy Quinn away.
Leo practically visited The Hawthorne Villa every day to hang out with Victor Hawthorne, and the housekeeper was familiar with him.
After hearing his words, the housekeeper promptly approached Joy Quinn, "Miss, please follow out."
Joy Quinn looked at Victor Hawthorne with resentnt, "Victor..."
She thought Victor Hawthorne would surely be unable to bear it, would kick aside the disrespectful housekeeper, and would reprimand Leo for offending her, allowing her a mont of triumph.
But Victor Hawthorne just glanced at her and, without saying anything, led Leo towards the back garden.
Joy Quinn, left without her mont of triumph: "..."
The housekeeper continued to urge her, "Miss, if you don’t leave, I’ll have to call the security team."
In the end, Joy Quinn could only stomp her foot in anger and walked away briskly.

About half an hour later, July Quinn arrived at the back garden in The Hawthorne Villa’s dedicated sightseeing electric cart.
"Wow, it’s Master JULY."
"Master, could you sign an autograph for later?"
"Master, help boost my rank later!"
The campus esports team couldn’t be more excited.
They had fought side-by-side with July Quinn before, and seeing her made them feel incredibly close.
"Hello, everyone."
After greeting them, July Quinn tossed a plastic bag to Victor Hawthorne.
"Catch!"
Victor Hawthorne hurriedly caught it, but it was very heavy.
"What’s this?"
Leo, standing closest to Victor Hawthorne, imdiately leaned in curiously.
"A gift, happy birthday." July Quinn replied and was imdiately surrounded by the esports team.
anwhile, Victor Hawthorne and Leo opened the plastic bag July Quinn threw over, only to find inside was a gold brick, likely weighing four or five pounds.
Victor Hawthorne: "..."
Leo: "..."
Was it because they lacked perspective?
In this day and age, people carry plastic bags to give gifts, and they’re this extravagant?
"Tsk tsk, just based on this, I think July Quinn is much more impressive than Joy Quinn."
Leo, covering his aluminum alloy eyes that were nearly blinded by the gold brick, couldn’t help but praise while asking Victor Hawthorne.
"Joy Quinn obviously wants money, but July Quinn is different. Aren’t you tempted even a bit by July Quinn?"
Victor Hawthorne lifted the gold brick in his hand: "They’re indeed different. Joy Quinn wants money, but July Quinn wants life!"
Thinking back to the scene when he first t July Quinn, being beaten down by her...
It’s not that he’s not tempted; he simply doesn’t dare move at all!
