"Mr. Kidd?"

July Quinn glanced coldly at the man beside her holding a black umbrella and wearing black frad glasses.

She saw him gesturing "please" towards the black car outside the door.

Following his hand, July Quinn noticed that the rear door of the black car was open.

In the dim rain curtain, July Quinn could only vaguely make out another man in the back seat, but couldn’t see his face clearly.

"I don’t know any Mr. Kidd, please leave."

July Quinn was not the kind of girl without a sense of danger.

Moreover, soone suddenly seeking her out on a rainy night was definitely not friendly.

Unexpectedly, after being rejected, the man coldly laughed and said, "Miss Quinn, you have no choice in this."

As he spoke, several n dressed in black quickly rushed into the clinic, surrounding July Quinn.

These n appeared light on their feet and well-trained, unlike ordinary thugs.

Additionally, her heart hadn’t been feeling well the past few days, limiting her from strenuous activity.

So, after squinting and observing the so-called Mr. Kidd’s silhouette in the car for a few seconds, July Quinn still strode forward.

A few seconds later, July Quinn got into the car.

There was no one in the driver’s seat or the passenger seat.

It seed this Mr. Kidd wanted to speak with her without others listening.

"Hello, Miss Quinn."

In the occasional passing streetlights, Roman Kidd scrutinized July Quinn.

He had already seen images of July Quinn’s appearance from his secretary.

Originally, he thought they were digitally enhanced, but unexpectedly, such stunning beauty existed, more striking than a rose.

Yet beauty without substance is rely an empty shell.

Just like her senselessly attacking Bianca White, wild and rude, marrying her would be unfortunate.

As he thought this, the amazent in Roman Kidd’s eyes gradually faded, replaced by disdain.

"Hello, Mr. Kidd. Have we t before?"

July Quinn also turned to scrutinize Roman Kidd, a decent-looking person, and sowhat familiar.

Could it be they really knew each other?

Roman Kidd didn’t dwell on it, only feeling July Quinn was using a clumsy excuse to engage with him, increasingly disliking her.

Yet, he didn’t show any emotion towards July Quinn due to his good upbringing, rely reminding her coldly:

"We haven’t t. But you slapped my cousin yesterday. Miss Quinn should rember."

July Quinn furrowed her brows.

Slapped his cousin?

Bianca White?

July Quinn imdiately understood why this Kidd sought her out.

"How does Bianca White dare act like a child who couldn’t win and tattled to her parents?"

Roman Kidd’s eyes narrowed slightly, "Bianca White isn’t a child."

"Of course, she’s not a child, she’s quite old." July Quinn curled her lips, mocking coldly.

It’s likely that a workplace elite like him is too busy to even surf the internet daily, so not knowing "child" has now beco an insult is understandable.

So she decided to kindly resolve his confusion.

"The term ’child’ can also refer to so adults as immature and foolish as primary schoolers."

Anger quickly gathered on Roman Kidd’s handso face.

"Do you truly not know who I am?"

Since becoming vice president, July Quinn was the first to speak like this about soone he valued.

So he seriously doubted if July Quinn recognized him.

As expected, July Quinn calmly retorted, "Who are you?"

"Roman Kidd!"

Each word seed squeezed out through clenched teeth, articulated clearly.

He thought his na was deeply ingrained in every citizen’s heart.

Including July Quinn.

Unexpectedly, upon hearing his na, July Quinn was...
