Nina Quinn: "..."
Getting caught by the anti-vice team halfway through with Nathan Jacobs had beco Nina Quinn’s lifelong nightmare.
Little did she expect July Quinn to imdiately hit her sore spot, leaving her montarily unsure how to respond.
Especially those few employees nearby, whose expressions turned peculiar upon hearing the words "anti-vice team."
Making Nina Quinn feel they knew about her being caught by the anti-vice team yesterday, she felt utterly humiliated and ran out angrily.
With Nina Quinn, the nuisance resolved, July Quinn turned to Kenneth Wright.
"Manager Wright, I’m sure you know how much effort I put into securing sponsorship for Project Li. Now that the project is finally on track, are you going to watch it rot in Nina Quinn’s hands?"
"This..." Kenneth Wright looked troubled.
He had personally witnessed July Quinn’s hard work on the project.
Without a doubt, it had the potential to create the most popular boy band in the entertainnt industry.
But now, the boss decided to hand the project over to Nina Quinn, a student who hadn’t even graduated yet, leaving everything uncertain.
"Manager Wright, why don’t you co with to speak to my dad and oppose giving the project to Nina Quinn?"
July Quinn noticed Kenneth Wright’s hesitation and continued to persuade him.
She preferred to put her hope in the completely unrelated Kenneth Wright rather than pleading with her father, Quincy Taylor.
Kenneth Wright might still fight alongside her for the sake of benefits to oppose this unfair arrangent.
But Quincy Taylor...
His favoritism toward Nina Quinn reached outer space.
Going directly to Quincy Taylor could only result in a bout of reprimands, utterly unable to change his decision.
But just as Kenneth Wright was about to act on his hesitations, they heard Quincy Taylor’s voice behind them.
"No need to co to , my decision will not change."
July Quinn and Kenneth Wright turned around to see Quincy Taylor with an angry expression standing not far away.
And the previously humiliated Nina Quinn was now intimately holding Quincy Taylor’s arm, smiling triumphantly at July Quinn.
July Quinn, furious, blurted out, "Nina Quinn has no work experience at all, aren’t you afraid she’ll ss it up by giving her the project now?"
In response, Quincy Taylor denied nonchalantly.
"You had no work experience when you entered the company’s planning departnt, didn’t your grandfather still insist on placing you there?"
"I’m not like her, I..."
Before July Quinn could finish speaking, Quincy Taylor interrupted with a sneer.
"Oh right, you are definitely not like Nina. At least Nina is still a college student, plays piano at level six, and has fundantal artistic judgnt capabilities. Whereas you don’t even have a proper educational background, let alone anything else."
July Quinn was rendered speechless.
Quincy Taylor decisively concluded, "Alright, since despite your lack of education and work experience, you’ve managed to do well, I believe Nina can too, even better than you. So my decision to hand Project Li to Nina remains unchanged."
As he said this, Quincy Taylor glanced aningfully at Kenneth Wright.
"Anyone who disagrees with this decision can also submit your opinions and suggestions. But rember when proposing them, make sure to hand in your letters of resignation as well."
Kenneth Wright’s hesitations visibly disappeared.
Now, he was busy eagerly introducing the basic details of Project Li to Nina Quinn.
The others in the office hurriedly offered Nina Quinn tea and water.
Overall, quite fawning.
July Quinn watched this scene coldly.
Because before this, these people were serving her tea and water, quietly criticizing Nina Quinn.
But now...
July Quinn felt disillusioned with the world, yet Quincy Taylor nodded in satisfaction, then promptly ordered July Quinn to get to work.
"Hurry up and print out this week’s collaborative plan with the TV station for your sister."
Without waiting for him to finish speaking, July Quinn was already walking toward the office exit.
"I told you to print it for your sister, where are you going? Do you believe I’ll fire you!"
"You don’t need to fire ." July Quinn turned, casting a disdainful glance at both of them, "I quit."
