Finished dealing with Kyle Keaton, July Quinn was ready to set off to the styling center Kyle had booked.
Laura Quinn ca up with a thermos: "Honey, this is freshly made vegetable beef porridge. You haven’t eaten anything this morning, take it to the styling center to eat later."
A mother’s constant worry is that her daughter isn’t getting enough to eat.
July Quinn did not refuse Laura’s kind gesture and directly picked it up.
Richard Donovan ca up with a thicker coat than the one July was wearing: "July, I think the clothes you’re wearing aren’t warm enough, change into this."
July was actually too lazy to change, but again, this was from her father personally.
In the end, she donned the thicker coat, carrying the vegetable beef porridge made by her mom, and drove herself to the styling center.
In the car, she looked at the sleeve of the thick coat, the thermos placed beside her, and rembered the video of boiling water Kyle sent her earlier, her lips curved slightly.
She didn’t know what happiness was like before, but now she seed to understand.
Her parents were alive and loved her, cared for her, her husband was handso and pampered her...
She hoped she could remain this happy forever.
But a stray dog on the roadside made her realize the brakes were failing!
A disaster!
Her car had been tampered with!
She couldn’t stop it.
Yet the car continued to accelerate...
"Damn it!"
July tried various thods; there was no way to decelerate.
This stretch of road was deserted, jumping out of the car would be equally dangerous.
Moreover, whoever dared tamper with her car surely didn’t want her alive at the party.
So they definitely wouldn’t only sabotage the brakes.
July anxiously watched as the tunnel entrance approached.
Happiness was clearly within reach, why did fate play such a cruel joke?
As the car rushed into the tunnel like a fired arrow, July closed her eyes in despair and helplessness.
A few seconds later, a deafening explosion echoed from the tunnel...

Laura Quinn carefully inserted the freshly picked flowers into the vase.
July wasn’t fond of filling the room with flowers, but she liked seeing them on the dining table.

Laura hissed in pain.
Richard Donovan, who was just about to put window decals on the windows, imdiately dropped the tools and rushed over.
"What happened?"
"My finger got pricked by a thorn." Laura frowned.
"Let see." Richard, worried, pulled Laura’s hand to inspect.
The thorn had pierced a sizeable hole in her finger, blood droplets erged.
"It’s alright, it’s nothing serious."
Laura attempted to pull her finger away.
"Bleeding and still ’nothing serious’? Just look how it hurt you."
Richard carefully enveloped her finger in his palm, gently tending to the thorned wound.
Laura didn’t pull her finger away, she simply allowed Richard to hold it.
What truly made her frown wasn’t the pain on her finger but rather an inexplicable sense of anxiety.
Just at that mont, she felt as if sothing incredibly important was being extracted from her life...
