However, rely having good business was far from enough; feeding the penguins, hiring Beast Tars, and sumr cooling costs were quite substantial expenses.
This was also why Joseph decided to sell the hotel when the financial chain was breaking.
At present, Freddy, responsible for this sale, was waiting in the hotel’s eting room as agreed.
Yet, bewildered, half an hour past the appointed ti, the mysterious buyer still hadn’t appeared.
Freddy had no choice but to inform Joseph of this.
"Not present yet? It seems he’s not really interested in this transaction."
Just after saying this over the phone, Freddy asked him: "Should I continue waiting?"
Joseph wanted to tell him it was unnecessary.
After all, externally, Freddy still represented the face of The Marsden Family.
Being treated so coldly over one acquisition incident showed disregard for The Marsden Family.
A person like that shouldn’t expect to do business with The Marsden Family in the future.
Yet, when these words were about to leave his mouth, Joseph couldn’t say them outright.
Because currently, The Marsden Family’s financial chain had a huge gap, and if the Penguin Hotel wasn’t sold to free up liquidity, several projects in progress would be dragged down, leading the entire Marsden Family to face threats from all sides.
Weighing the pros and cons, Joseph said: "Wait another half-hour."
Thus, Freddy continued to wait in the eting room for another half-hour.
Until the ti had already exceeded, just when Freddy was about to ask Joseph if there was any need to keep waiting, the door to the eting room was finally pushed open.

But just as he finished shouting, Freddy said: "No, it’s not like that. The mysterious buyer has appeared, but his identity might be soone you wouldn’t want to sell to."
"Who is it?" Joseph asked, confused.
Previously, the buyer interested in The Penguin Hotel had only communicated with them via email.
But he never revealed his identity, even though Joseph repeatedly tried to probe.
Of course, Joseph considered trying to track down the other party’s background through emails.
Yet, not even the programr of Marsden Estate could trace any information about the other party.
Hence, Joseph had no choice but to give up on the idea of investigating the other party’s background; as long as he could provide funds to alleviate their current financial crisis, it was fine.
But now, Freddy’s words made him quite uneasy.
Upon further inquiry, Freddy ntioned a person Joseph hadn’t considered.
"It’s... a Descendant of the Kanes!"
