Because of the backlight, July Quinn couldn’t see the man’s expression.
Just by his height and clothes, she could recognize that it was Kyle Keaton.
After all, they had shared a bed for so long, even a small detail would allow July Quinn to recognize him.
Just like Kyle Keaton, even though he couldn’t see July Quinn’s face at Laura Quinn’s party that day, he could recognize her from her figure, aura, and presence.
But such recognition was far less impactful than witnessing with his own eyes her familiar, stunning beauty, standing there peacefully before him, overwhelming his senses and emotions!
"July Quinn!"
If he hadn’t heard it himself, Kyle Keaton would have never known his voice could beco so husky!
"Why did you deceive ! You didn’t die, why did you lie to like that?"
He stepped forward a few paces, gripping the woman’s shoulders ferociously, questioning her with heart-wrenching intensity.
He knew his strength was formidable, possibly causing her pain.
But he couldn’t control himself; he couldn’t stop.
"Don’t you know that those who lie to never end up well?"
He roared repeatedly, each shout tearing at both of their emotions.
His eyes were bloodshot, as if they might start bleeding at any mont.
Like a demon crawling out of hell, wanting to consu human hearts and drink their blood.
Hearing his cries, quite a few staff from the private club rushed over.
Seeing his outcry and loss of control, they all thought this man might tear July Quinn apart, feeling a chill run down their spines on her behalf.
But just as they were about to call the police for July Quinn’s protection, they saw the man filled with accusations, desperately shouting, pull July Quinn into a tight embrace.
"Why are you so cruel? Knowing how much I love you, knowing I can’t let go of you, why did you jump off the cliff in front of and deceive into thinking you were dead?"
"Do you know that those days I survived by vowing to kill everyone responsible for your death! If it weren’t for that hatred sustaining , I would have long followed you..."
The man buried his face deep in the crook of July Quinn’s neck.
July Quinn felt him trembling slightly, even sensed a faint warm flow.
That was the man’s emotions being released without restraint.
And July Quinn closed her eyes...
She thought the man had fallen into a love spell and would continue to detest her.
Her fall off the cliff would rely be a knot between him and Bianca White, unlikely to cause him such grief to want to join her in death.
But she hadn’t expected her fall off the cliff to break the love spell in his mind.
Perhaps this was the man’s love for her, transcending everything in the world, beyond the control of any spell...
July Quinn didn’t know how long she quietly let the man embrace her.
The previous chaos seed to have completely disappeared, and everything around them seed to beco their backdrop.
Until July Quinn’s phone rang, breaking the still image.
July Quinn freed herself from Kyle Keaton’s grasp and answered the call imdiately.
The call was from Roman Kidd, and July Quinn’s tone was pleasant, her lips occasionally curled into a smile.
"Yes, of course, I will host you when you co over."
"I understand, I will make sure everything is perfectly arranged for you."
"Alright, I look forward to His Excellency Kidd’s visit."
As July Quinn put away her phone, she faced Kyle Keaton’s eyes, dark and ominous as if ready to devour her.
"Was that Roman Kidd calling?"
"Yes." July Quinn put away her phone and walked towards the private office area of the club.
Kyle Keaton followed closely behind, his tone aggressive:
"Why did he call you? How co I didn’t know you two were close enough to make cross-country calls and maintain your relationship?"
