Chapter 334: Radiant Angel

The team made their way down the street toward the square at the foot of the mountain.

To avoid alarming the Radiant Angel on the statue, everyone slowed their pace, trying not to make too much noise.

A journey of just a few kiloters took over an hour to reach the square.

Hiding in the ruins at the square's edge, the team concealed themselves among the rubble.

From behind the remnants of the buildings, they observed the fountain in the square.

As they approached, they realized the sheer number of Light Slis in the fountain was staggering.

The fountain's basin held no water, only glittering light crystals.

Hundreds of Light Slis bounced and played atop the mound of luminous crystals.

At that mont, Li ng's face changed slightly as he hid within the ruins.

With a sudden burst of air, his figure vanished, becoming a black shadow darting out of the ruins.

Outside, a beam of white light suddenly descended from the sky.

The white light clashed with the black shadow again and again.

Each collision triggered a shockwave, exploding outward.

The speed was so great that even the imperial-level powerhouses in the ruins couldn’t track the figures.

They could only see two streaks of light colliding repeatedly.

Only Matthew and Irisis barely caught a glimpse of Silver Mask's movents.

Boom!

A loud explosion echoed as a powerful shockwave erupted.

The black and white lights passed each other and distanced themselves.

At this mont, a holy figure finally appeared in the sky.

The figure wore platinum armor, with radiant wings gently fluttering on its back.

Li ng, however, crashed heavily to the ground.

The ground cracked with a resounding boom, leaving a large depression.

Had the Radiant Angel been provoked?

The sight of the holy angel hovering in the sky made everyone hiding in the ruins feel a heavy pressure.

When their gaze turned to Silver Mask, their faces showed disbelief.

Silver Mask wasn’t just a great sage—he was a warrior too?

"Matthew, Irisis, prepare for battle!"

Although surprised by Silver Mask's dual mastery of magic and combat, Helena was the first to react.

Since they had already alerted the Radiant Angel, a confrontation was unavoidable.

At her words, Matthew and Irisis snapped out of their shock.

The other imperial-level experts also steeled their expressions.

Li ng raised his hand, signaling everyone behind him to stay back.

"You all go capture the Light Slis. Leave this to !"

Facing the Radiant Angel in the sky, Li ng's thoughts churned.

This being was incredibly strong—no information could be discerned.

Even its physical attributes were marked by question marks.

With that, Li ng stepped forward and threw a punch.

Boom!

A thunderous roar resounded.

Unleashing his imnse combat aura, the very air seed to tear, emitting a sharp screech.

A powerful shockwave surged toward the Radiant Angel in the sky.

Li ng's strike caught the Radiant Angel off guard.

The platinum armor on its body radiated a holy glow, summoning a shield of light in front of it.

Boom!

The combat aura struck the light shield with a trendous impact.

The shield flickered violently under the powerful assault.

As the shield wavered, the Radiant Angel was sent flying by the massive shockwave, its holy figure streaking across the sky like a shooting star.

Bang!

Following his attack, Li ng's figure vanished again.

The ground cracked beneath him as he launched himself skyward, chasing the Radiant Angel.

The sight left the team behind utterly stunned.

What just happened?

Combat aura?

With just one punch, Li ng had sent the Radiant Angel flying?

"Quick, capture the Light Slis!"

Helena knew Silver Mask was creating an opportunity for them to capture the Light Slis.

The team snapped out of their daze and rushed toward the fountain.

anwhile, in the northern ruins near the fountain, a black shadow descended from the sky, crashing into a dilapidated building with a loud Bang!

Amid the lingering dust, countless water arrows shot out, aiming at the Radiant Angel in the sky.

The Radiant Angel, wings glowing, dodged left and right to avoid the incoming projectiles.

As it maneuvered, a sacred brilliance condensed in its hands, forming a blazing sword of holy fire.

With a single swing of the flaming sword, a light blade shot forth, striking the dusty ruins below.

Amidst the billowing dust, a blue glow of magical energy shimred.

Three massive Eastern Dragons rose from the rubble.

On the head of one of the dragons stood a figure in a black robe—it was Li ng.

The three Eastern Dragons opened their nacing jaws, spitting enormous water spheres.

The Radiant Angel deftly dodged, its agility unmatched.

Fighting the Radiant Angel was incredibly disadvantageous.

Flying units naturally held the upper hand against ground units.

“Hmph, let’s see how you dodge this!”

Li ng sneered, spreading his arms wide.

Blue magic surged from his body, streaming endlessly into the sky.

Without incantations, pure magical energy began to coalesce above.

A storm cloud rapidly ford over Li ng's head.

Initially just a swirling cloud, it expanded visibly outward.

In re monts, the skies over the City of the Sky were enveloped in roiling storm clouds.

“This is the 'Thunderstorm Surge' spell?”

In the square, Helena looked up, her face full of shock and uncertainty.

The overwhelming magic in the sky made it clear what spell it was.

It was the war magic Thunderstorm Surge.

But its scale far exceeded the one they had witnessed on the 41st level of the labyrinth.

The sky was visibly cloaked in storm clouds.

Could it be cast by Silver Mask?

With this thought, Helena looked toward the battlefield.

To the north, a holy figure could be seen in the sky.

On the ground, three massive serpentine elental spirits lood.

The Radiant Angel, noticing the change in the sky, also looked up at the storm clouds before glancing down at Li ng and the Eastern Dragons in the ruins.

It darted straight toward Li ng.

Two of the Eastern Dragons opened their mouths, unleashing massive water cannons.

Before they could hit, the water cannons exploded, scattering into countless water arrows that filled the sky.

The Radiant Angel, charging toward Li ng, bore the brunt of the water arrows.

The platinum armor rippled with dazzling light under the barrage.

The impact briefly halted the Radiant Angel's advance.

In that mont, a greater attack ca.

Crack!

A thunderclap echoed as a bolt of lightning struck from the storm clouds, hitting the Radiant Angel.

Lightning's speed was incomparable to that of the water arrows.

The Radiant Angel took a direct hit.

The imnse electrical current caused the angel's body to tremble.

Crack!

Another thunderclap sounded, and a second lightning bolt descended, striking the Radiant Angel.

And it didn’t stop there—the thunderclaps ca one after another.

The sky roared with flashes of lightning, displaying the fury of nature.

One bolt after another struck the Radiant Angel with precision.

Under the relentless bombardnt, the angel's holy radiance dimd significantly.
