Chapter 315: The Ring of Lust "Charm 100"
"You all wait here. I'll be back soon!"
With that, Li ng strode confidently into the cavern.
Watching his retreating figure, Amayee, Amay, and A felt a little nervous. They had heard the terrifying rumors about the Fallen Sli of Lust.
anwhile, Li ng continued deeper into the cave. After walking about a hundred ters, he reached the end and erged into a larger chamber.
"So this is the Fallen Sli of Lust?"
In the vast space, Li ng saw a gigantic pink sli lying dormant like a small mountain. Its diater was nearly fifty ters.
The mont it noticed Li ng, its sticky body quivered, and nurous tentacles shot out, aiming for him.
Snap!
Li ng snapped his fingers, unleashing the power of frost.
A wave of white mist swept across the chamber, freezing the tentacles mid-air. In an instant, the massive sli was encased in ice.
With a flicker, Li ng leaped into the air, his body darting like a flea. His fist struck the frozen sli squarely.
Boom!
The chamber echoed with a thunderous crash as the ice shattered. The frozen sli disintegrated into countless shards that slamd against the cavern walls like hailstones.
The once-mighty Fallen Sli of Lust vanished into nothingness, reduced to gray ashes by the sheer force of Li ng's attack.
Landing gracefully amidst the swirling mist, Li ng dusted himself off.
"As expected, just a minor obstacle."
His attention was then drawn to sothing glimring on the ground.
Li ng bent down and picked it up—a dark golden ring.
[Ring of Lust]
- Charm 100
"A labyrinth magic item that increases charm?"
His eyes lit up as he slipped the ring onto the middle finger of his left hand.
"Not bad for an unexpected reward."
Grinning, Li ng turned his gaze to a platform at the edge of the chamber. Atop it was a teleportation magic array.
Satisfied, he headed back toward the entrance. His team was still waiting outside.
---
Back at the cavern entrance...
"He's back! The Boss is back!"
The group perked up as Li ng erged from the cavern.
"Let’s go. The Fallen Sli of Lust has been dealt with."
"What? Already?"
"The Boss is amazing!"
"Could he be a god-tier adventurer?"
Amayee, Amay, and A quickly ran up to him. As they got closer, their faces flushed simultaneously.
They looked at Li ng with admiration and affection.
"Boss, why do you suddenly look even more handso?" Amay asked, her cheeks red with curiosity.
Amayee and A nodded in agreent. Sohow, the Boss now exuded an even stronger allure that made people want to be near him.
Having spent so much ti with him, the three could sense the subtle change.
Li ng chuckled, ruffling A’s hair.
"Haven’t I always been this handso?"
A giggled, hugging his arm. "True. You've always been the most handso in my eyes."
"Let’s move!"
Li ng led the group into the cavern.
---
Inside the Fallen Sli's chamber...
The group reached the teleportation magic array platform.
"Mages, channel your magic into the array. Let’s set off!"
At Li ng’s command, the mages’ staffs glowed with power. The entire teleportation array lit up, and in a flash of blue light, the hundred-plus mbers vanished, their forms dissolving into magical energy.
---
At the 40th floor...
In a forest deep within the labyrinth, a teleportation magic array suddenly activated. Blue light filled the area, sending ripples of energy across the forest.
When the light faded, the platform was crowded with the figures of Li ng and his team.
"A forest? We’ve reached the 40th floor!"
The surrounding environnt puzzled Li ng. A forest in an underground labyrinth? Without sunlight, how could these plants survive?
Looking up, he noticed the ceiling a kiloter above, covered in rocks embedded with glowing white crystals.
"Light Crystals?"
Li ng’s eyes sparkled with surprise.
The labyrinth truly was a treasure trove. Resources considered strategic assets on the surface, like elental crystals, were abundant here.
"Boss, I recognize this place. The town is that way!" Bella pointed in a specific direction.
In the labyrinth, there was no way to discern north, south, east, or west.
"Let’s go. Stay together!"
The group moved out, heading toward the town.
---
Through the forest...
As they walked, Li ng turned to Bella.
"Bella, how are supplies transported to the town?"
He doubted the forest could support agriculture. The plants around them weren’t ordinary—they were alive, with levels indicating they were labyrinth monsters.
"Boss, the labyrinth town relies on rchant guilds. These guilds supply the town and its population of over a million adventurers. As the only base in the deep labyrinth, the town is a massive source of profit for the guilds.
"Many have their own secret tunnels to transport goods. However, due to the difficulty of reaching the 40th floor, prices in the town are ten tis higher than in the labyrinth city."
"Ten tis?" Li ng was taken aback. No wonder the guilds found it worthwhile.
The group eventually left the forest and entered a grassland.
---
On the grassland...
"The floor boss here is a plant monster called the Spirit-Draining Demon Tree," Bella explained as they walked.
"To defeat it, god-tier adventurers often oversee the operation.
"The plants you see here are all monsters. If the Demon Tree respawns, these plants beco extrely dangerous. Even the grass beneath our feet could turn into blades."
Her words startled Amayee, Amay, and A. They instinctively moved closer to Li ng.
Without monster interference, the group moved leisurely across the grassland.
Li ng’s subordinates chatted and laughed, while Li ng himself enjoyed the magical breeze.
---
Suddenly, Bella spoke up.
"Boss!"
"What’s wrong?" Li ng asked, glancing at her.
Her face was slightly flushed as her hand rested lightly on her stomach.
"I... I think I’m pregnant."
As a Sword King, Bella could sense the life growing within her. Over the past month, she had only been with Li ng, leaving no doubt about the child’s parentage.
