“Apparently, he ca to propose.”
“Oh dear, white shirts are not very festive, and Mr. Griffith’s expression isn’t gentle or passionate enough.”
“Diamond rings are out of fashion nowadays, Elijah Butler roses are a bit tacky.”

Elijah Butler and Hailey Griffith were amazingly in sync, their words perfectly matched, they didn’t wait for William Griffith to speak and simply shut the door, leaving him outside. Cherish Turner was sitting in the living room watching television, shaking her head and smiling helplessly, clearly she was at her wit’s end with these two sisters.
“Elijah, did you see William’s face turning green?”
“More than green, I think it’s purple.”
“When you said his expression wasn’t gentle or passionate, he looked as if he wanted to kill you.”
“Hailey, I’m really scared.”
Elijah Butler and Hailey Griffith sat lazily next to Cherish Turner, enthusiastically discussing. These two won were like old friends who hated that they hadn’t t sooner, presenting a united front, all their barbs directed at William Griffith, insisting on finding nurous reasons for Cherish to reject him, they even took great pleasure in it.
