Chapter 576: Chapter 575: She Disappeared

“I’ll make you a new cup.” The assistant said with a clenched lip. William Griffith interrupted again, “Don’t you know my schedule? Get the car ready and let’s go!”

At one o’clock in the afternoon, Griffith Corporation had its year-end product exhibition.

It was deliberately held in the bustling central shopping mall, attracting custors to co and watch.

The exhibition had been organized for a long ti, with an emcee hosting and dia gathered. Previous exhibitions were only for VIPs, but this ti, in order to expand the custor base, no invitations were sent. A series of Griffith’s investnt and financial projects had aroused strong interest among a group of custors, and more and more people gathered around to watch.

Before long, the hall was filled with people.

The person in charge of the exhibition learned that William Griffith had arrived and imdiately went to greet him.

After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, a subordinate went to fetch the car.

anwhile, William Griffith stood at the exit of the building, his gaze casually scanning the unfamiliar faces until it paused on a peaceful figure. Amid the bustling crowd, she was dressed casually, one might even say, simply. She wore loose clothing and a thick, warm outfit. Her long hair was tied up in a bun, and the black gemstone earring on her ear was clearly visible. She carried a bag in her hand and had bought so things. Then she stood on the street corner, apparently waiting for a bus.

“President Griffith, the car is here,” the assistant called out.

William’s gaze followed her figure. The assistant looked suspiciously and finally saw that person being engulfed in the crowd. Suddenly feeling a sour sensation well up, William said, “Call her over.”

With no choice, the assistant crossed the street and went towards Cherish Turner.

William watched the assistant walk toward her, and he saw that Cherish Turner was talking with her, but her gaze hadn’t turned back to him. The two of them were lingering, and she didn’t co over. William got into the car, “Turn around up ahead.”

At the corner, the assistant said, “Miss Cherish, President Griffith is calling you.”

“I’m not going,” Cherish replied softly, holding her bags and pocket.

“You should go. It’s very difficult for

otherwise.”

“I…” Just as Cherish was about to speak, a luxury car stopped beside her.

Soone opened the car door; William Griffith didn’t get out, “Get in, I’ll drop you off wherever you’re going.”

“No need to bother, I’m waiting for soone,” Cherish said softly, her head down.

Waiting for soone? William’s gaze suddenly shot towards her, and he saw that she hadn’t even glanced at him. A surge of anger reached his heart. With a long stride, he squeezed out of the car and grabbed her hand, saying harshly, “Get in the car!”

“I won’t get in!” Cherish stubbornly refused.

William Griffith’s eyes narrowed, and he forcibly pulled her into the car.

Just as they were arguing and struggling, another car drove up, and soone suddenly got out and rushed toward the two of them.

Yannis Griffith grabbed William’s wrist and said angrily, “Brother! Let go! You’re hurting Cherish!”

Hearing this, William finally let go for fear of hurting her.

At the mont, Cherish didn’t really want to see William as she had a lot on her mind and hadn’t figured out how to face him yet. Now in this situation, they would soon have a child; how would she tell him, and would he be happy?

Cherish left, and William didn’t chase her again.

The days went by, and it was as if Cherish had disappeared, suddenly leaving everyone’s sight.

One day, Yannis Griffith looked for Cherish but couldn’t find her. Fearing she might be in trouble, he went to find Elijah Butler.

“Elijah Butler, where have you been? Where’s Cherish? Why aren’t you both at ho? And why can’t I reach anyone on the phone?”
