Chapter 509: Chapter 508: Long Ti No See

Cherish Turner awkwardly said “um” and finally reached out to take the cup, which seed to still retain his warmth.

“Puff puff—” The soup pot was steaming.

“My soup.” Cherish didn’t have ti to drink water and hurriedly rushed into the kitchen.

William Griffith silently watched her petite figure beco exceptionally tall. Her bustling figure looked especially gentle and lovely, with a fatal attraction.

Finally finishing the cooking, Cherish served the dishes on the dining table. Three dishes and a soup, all homade, unlike a five-star hotel. Removing her apron, she held it in one hand and a packed lunchbox in the other, standing at the entrance and saying, “I’ve finished cleaning, and the food is cooked.”

William was sitting on the sofa smoking. He acknowledged her with a grunt. The door opened and closed; she left. He finished his cigarette and walked to the dining table. He picked up a spoon and took a sip of warm soup.

Suddenly there was a pungent salty taste, stimulating his taste buds.

“Knock, knock!” The door was knocked upon, but William didn’t react. Until soone outside could not bear it any longer and used her key to open the door herself. Cherish rushed into the apartnt and ran to his side. He was still drinking the soup, her small face flushing red with annoyance, “I mixed up salt and sugar, it’s too salty. Don’t drink it anymore.”

Looking at the soup bowl in front of him, he had already finished it?

“Didn’t you think it was too salty?” Cherish asked in surprise.

William squinted his eyes, resting his head in one hand, and said indifferently, “Give

another bowl.”

Uh…

The corners of his lips unconsciously lifted.

In the printing room, the printer made “beep beep” sounds.

Cherish was printing the neatly organized data, page after page of paper with densely packed numbers. She looked out the window and suddenly thought of last night’s salty soup. Ordinary people would definitely spit it out after a sip. How could he stand it? Shaking her head, she gathered the papers in page number order into a file.

“Assistant Turner, are you going to lunch?”

“Sure.” Cherish looked back and replied, locking the file in the drawer and leaving the investnt banking departnt with her colleagues.

As she took the elevator downstairs, she saw a crowd of people in front of her, a group of won.

“Wow—”

“There’s a super handso guy outside! Have you guys seen him?”

“Of course, I saw him. He’s really handso. The most important thing is that he’s holding a bouquet of roses. Is he soone’s boyfriend? I wonder which lucky woman has found such a handso guy.”

“I really want to get to know him.”

“What about asking him for his phone number?”

“Ah—”

Won in the back row were excitedly chattering, their expressions inevitably showing regret.

Cherish Turner walked silently past the crowd, becoming sowhat doubtful. She looked back and saw a handso, warm man standing in the center of the crowd. His suit was neat, and he held a bouquet of roses, standing so conspicuously in the hall. His smile was exceptionally bright, and he looked spirited.

The man’s gaze swept over the crowd and t hers; he suddenly took strides, walking straight through the crowd towards her.

Cherish was stunned, watching him approach like a knight, step by step.

“Hi.” He stood in front of her, smiling gently.

The light in the hall was good, sunlight streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows, shining on him, even his hair tinted with a faint golden color. He stood bathed in golden light, his tall, slender figure slightly bent, matching her height, reducing any pressure on her, and his subtle movents showed his tender side.
