Chapter 463: Chapter 464: She Lets Go

Mr. Chip naturally didn’t recall such a small figure as Cherish Turner.

Several luxury cars were waiting outside the hotel. Mr. Chip got into one of them, William Griffith and Chief Editor Sally also got into the cars.

Among the crowd of people hailing cabs by the roadside, Cherish Turner was aimlessly looking forward.

The SUV drove past the hotel, its black windows making it impossible to see the figures inside.

However, inside the vehicle, William Griffith glanced out the window, her small, frail figure stood out strikingly against the crowd. As the car smoothly moved forward, he cast his eyes down. The fleeting city lights illuminated his wickedly handso face, cold as an iceberg.

In the dim night, the SUV finally crossed the traffic lights, absorbed in the sea of lights.

Cherish Turner didn’t know where she should go. Going back to Cherry Blossom Garden, she was afraid her mother would worry about her. Yet, if she were to go to the Deep Wave Mansion, she didn’t even know what kind of feelings she should carry there.

How ridiculous it was to go to his territory when she clearly wasn’t his woman.

It was very ridiculous indeed.

But she had living essentials at the Deep Wave Mansion. With this in mind, she had to collect them. Cherish took a taxi, like a wandering soul, and returned to the Deep Wave Mansion.

She drank three cups of ice water in a row. Yet the burning sensation didn’t subside, instead, it beca even worse. She abruptly sat down on the sofa, noticing the ring at her fingertips, and suddenly it seed so ironic.

She could never guess what William Griffith was thinking. Sotis, you feel like you’re very close to him, yet you realize he’s still far away.

Suddenly, Cherish tried to remove the ring, but found it wouldn’t budge. In the end, she went to the bathroom, applied so soapy water, and finally removed the ring. She looked at the ring thoughtfully, she should return it to him, she had no desire to play the fool any longer, this coming and going was aningless.

If Chloe loves him, and he can’t let go of Chloe, then she should let go. Otherwise, the three of them are destined for tragedy.

Chloe Turner had been visiting the Griffith company often lately, and therefore more and more employees recognized her. Due to her good relationships with the two Griffith young masters, she could potentially beco soone’s fiancée. Regardless of the rumors, she was soone of status, and no one dared to neglect her.

Although they had initially thought that Cherish Turner was William’s official woman, but after all, she was also a woman of the president. Who would ultimately win was hard to say, because wealthy n tend to switch their won often.

“Miss Turner, hello.” When Chloe Turner arrived at the deputy general manager’s office, the secretary imdiately exited the office with a welcoming smile.

Chloe Turner returned the greeting with a radiant smile, softly asking, “Is President Griffith in?”

“President Griffith is in his office.” the secretary replied.

Only then, Chloe proceeded to knock on the door, and as expected, a deep male voice from within the office said, “Co in.”

In the spacious office, William Griffith was reviewing docunts, rolling up his sleeves casually, his black hair covering his eyes. His gaze shifted from the docunts to the visitor, and then lowered his head again and asked, “What is it?”

“I just ca from a hospital check-up, everything looks good, I was wondering if you were free to have lunch together?” Chloe asked, quietly seating herself on the sofa without disturbing his work.

William Griffith maintained his focus on the paperwork, replying nonchalantly, “As you wish.”

“William, why is your phone always off?” Chloe picked up a magazine and began flipping through it, asking curiously.
