Chapter 294: Chapter 294: If I Say It

In the following three days, William Griffith received phone call reports from Mother Goodman about Cherish Turner at every alti. After the infusion, her acute gastroenteritis had finally improved. However, a series of headaches soon began as problems arose one after another. For example, the lady stayed in the suite for the entire day, the lady only had a few sips of porridge, and the lady hadn’t talked for a long ti. These issues were troubling him.

Mother Goodman, being a woman herself, felt sorry for Cherish, but couldn’t reason with her husband. She didn’t know what was going on between the two of them.

Even if the husband had so thoughts, he couldn’t just lock her up like this. What if the lady beca heartbroken?

But the husband had already made it clear that if Cherish escaped, Mother Goodman would face the consequences herself.

As a servant, how could she resist? Besides, the husband was good to the lady despite his overbearing nature; he simply didn’t know how to express it.

As for the comic agency, when William heard that Abigail Johnson wanted to transfer Cherish to Kyoto City, he simply went straight to Editor-in-Chief Davis and terminated Cherish’s position.

President Davis, a shrewd person, understood the situation and imdiately halted all the tasks under Cherish’s purview, but her salary would still be paid as usual.

Cherish, the person, was suddenly isolated from everyone else’s lives.

When William cald down, he sotis wondered what he was still expecting and waiting for. Was he waiting for her to beg him for rcy, for her to beseech him to tell her that she would be with him forever, her body and soul belonging only to him, not accommodating anyone else?

He suddenly realized how pathetic and ridiculous it all seed. From the beginning to now, he had always been demanding of her.

But if he didn’t make demands, what could he do?

He knew that if one day Cherish really turned her guns on him, he believed he would entrust his life to her completely.

It turned out that it was never Cherish who was pathetic, but himself, hoping for a woman in this world who only had him in her heart.

At night, in bed, William looked at Cherish’s sleeping face. Now thinned, she was stubborn when she wanted to be. He suddenly recalled how, back when she found out she was pregnant, she had acted the sa way. She hated the idea so much that she wanted to take a knife and cut the unwanted thing out of her womb herself.

Now, he thought perhaps he had been wrong back then. After all, everything was beautiful for Cherish at that ti.

Daniel Peacock truly loved her back then.

They had their happiness.

It was all ruined by him.

But he didn’t regret it. If he hadn’t taken Cherish by force back then, how would he have known that Daniel Peacock was a person who would do anything for power and status?

So, from that mont on, William told himself that he would help Cherish plan her future, creating a stable life for her.

However, he didn’t realize whether such a future was what Cherish truly wanted.

Now, there was no way back. He was unwilling to give up on what he loved, even if he ended up being hated by everyone in the end.

As William looked at Cherish, he carefully tucked her blanket in and said bitterly, “If I told you that Lewis is your son, would you still hate and reject him like you did back then? He’s so adorable, Cherish. No matter what you think, leaving him behind was a blessing for , and I don’t regret it.”
