Cherish Turner was silent. Wasn’t that the reason? Otherwise, why would the president of a big corporation ask her to have dinner with him without doing anything else?
He might be looking for so excitent in his life, but she didn’t have the ti to keep a wealthy man like him entertained.
“You heard what my colleague said earlier. I don’t want such misunderstandings to happen to
again. People at work are looking at
weirdly now. They might misunderstand our relationship.”
William Griffith was still looking at her, scrutinizing the emotions flickering in her eyes.
“What misunderstanding?” Suddenly, he asked.
“Misunderstand that we are…”
Before Cherish could finish her sentence, her lips were forcibly sealed by a man’s, shocking Lewis, who covered his eyes with his little paws!
William kissed her without hesitation. He had suppressed too many of his feelings toward her, and the inner pressure had almost driven him crazy. Yet this woman was oblivious and wanted to disappear from his life once again.
How could he let that happen?
In their interactions, he was always anxious and flustered. He was constantly worried about keeping her by his side and protecting her from harm. But this woman managed to give him a headache every single day.
But this ti, Cherish pushed him away without hesitation!
“I told you, stop ssing with . I don’t find it funny at all. And, I already have soone I like, so whatever happens, we won’t be together.”
She looked at the worried Lewis behind her and then back at William.
“Maybe you think I’m like Lewis’s mother? Or for so other reason? But, President Griffith, please show rcy.”
With that, Cherish took out a hundred yuan from her pocket.
“Just like I can only treat you to a roadside stall al within a hundred yuan, I can’t give you a luxurious al. Our worlds are completely different!”
William watched her coldly, waiting for her to say sothing annoying. But she rely put the hundred yuan on the seat cushion and reached for the car door.
Was he letting her go?
Pressing the control panel, Cherish was trapped inside.
“William Griffith!” Cherish’s patience had truly reached its limit!
However, William put on a calm expression and said, “You said you wanted to treat , so let’s eat first, then you can go.”
“…” Cherish was stunned.

The car eventually stopped in front of a spicy hot pot restaurant – the best-tasting and most reasonably priced one in the city.
Every ti Cherish got off work or closed the shop, she would co here to eat if she had ti.
The restaurant owner recognized her and greeted her from a distance.
“It’s Cherish! You haven’t been here for a while. What do you want to eat today?”
Cherish greeted the owner back and then looked at the big boss next to her. He was examining the environnt of the hot pot restaurant like he was sowhat unimpressed – typical for a wealthy man!
“If you don’t like this place, you can leave. But next ti, I won’t invite you again!”
Cherish actually wanted to provoke him to leave, but she didn’t expect President Griffith to choose a seat by the window and sit down. “Lewis, co here.”
