Chapter 202: Chapter 202: Robbery

“Let go!” Cherish Turner yelled, her eyes reddening as she glared unblinkingly at Tanigawa Kenichi.

Frozen by her stare, Tanigawa Kenichi held his ground for a few seconds before finally releasing his grip.

For a mont, awkward silence fell upon the two occupants in the room.

“What exactly is going on? Where is he, why isn’t he here?”

Cherish naturally understood who Tanigawa Kenichi was referring to, but how was she supposed to answer?

Looking at her dejected reflection, Cherish despised her own state. The torturous late hours of the night when she couldn’t prevent herself from thinking about him were driving her insane.

She really wanted to confront him, to ask him clearly how he really felt about her. She didn’t seem able to accept the fact that their destiny together had ended just like that—it was even more unbearable than death.

Perhaps, Cherish Turner just wanted a reason to let go.

“Tanigawa, could you please do

a favor?” To think that at that mont she found herself depending on Tanigawa, a boy she had recently t but found very agreeable.

“Find him?” Tanigawa Kenichi always had a knack for understanding Cherish’s thoughts imdiately.

With such a pitiful expression, Tanigawa found Cherish to be rather frustrating.

Thanks to his mother, traveling in and out of China wasn’t a problem for him. However, it was so late and if he wanted to keep things secret, he would have to use his private jet. Such a move would inevitably alert his parents, but he also couldn’t turn Cherish down.

“Are you sure you want to go?”

Cherish nodded. She wanted to understand, to see for herself. Otherwise, she just couldn’t let go.

Seeing her determination, Tanigawa Kenichi ruffled his hair, thinking that eting Cherish really was a calamity for him.

“Is he really that great, to make you so reckless? Despite all your troubles, he’s never once helped you out. I really don’t understand you!”

Listening to his criticisms, Cherish had no choice but to admit her situation—after all, he was the only one who could help her now.

Several hours later, their private jet soared over the Sea of Japan, finally landing in a secluded private airfield near Haicheng.

Upon disembarking, Cherish was eager to seek out William Griffith on her own, only for Tanigawa to hold her back, “Hold on, it’s one o’clock in the morning. Where are you planning to go?”

It was pitch-black outside and rather cold. Was she planning on freezing to death?

“I want to see him.”

“I get it, in this world there’s only one William Griffith and everyone else is dead, right? But you can’t go right now. You’ll have to wait until morning. Besides, this is not the city center and at this hour there are no cars. Are you planning to walk there by yourself?”

There was no way he was going to drive her there!

Left without a choice, Cherish was forced to submit to Tanigawa’s decision.

His villa, which was full of buildings featuring a classic Spanish style, suited his personality well.

Everyone else was fast asleep at this hour. Once they entered his ho, Tanigawa, the gentleman, prepared a bath for Cherish to soothe herself in.

“I just need to wash up a little, you really don’t have to… ”

“If you want my help then listen to . Why are you talking so much?” After all, he, the young master, had personally prepared the bath for her.

Cherish acquiesced and took a bath in the tub. The cumulative physical and ntal exhaustion made her fall asleep montarily in the bathtub. Fortunately, Tanigawa knocked on the door which woke her up.

After dressing herself and preparing to leave the bath, she felt weak and her vision started to dim. Suddenly, she felt dizzy and collapsed forward…
