In order to facilitate their etings and protect Cherish Turner, after the accident, William Griffith booked another room at the hotel for her. Cherish originally didn’t want special treatnt, but after hearing what William said about Yara King that day, she felt wary of her. Staying in separate rooms might be better.
When Cherish entered her hotel room, she was surprised to find William Griffith and Lewis already there.
“Why did you co? Why didn’t you call first? Have you had dinner yet? Do you want to eat together? I bought so ingredients, and we can cook in the room as well.”
The apartnt-style hotel suite that he booked was quite convenient.
Little Lewis, with a sullen face, sat by the window and sulked. For so reason, he felt unhappy hearing such a beautiful teenager speak like that. He felt like he was a burden.
“Auntie Cherish, you don’t want to marry my dad because of , right?” Lewis asked, seemingly hurt by Mr. Tanigawa’s words.
Upon hearing his son say this, William couldn’t bear it and got angry at Cherish for causing trouble with Tanigawa.

Cherish was bewildered – what were these two troublemakers up to today?
“Wait, what’s going on with both of you? You’re saying things I don’t understand!”
Lewis didn’t hear Cherish’s response and continued drawing circles in the corner with his little backpack, mumbling to himself.
“Hey, what happened? Who annoyed him?” Cherish patted William’s arm.
“Who else could it be? Apart from the one who saved you, Tanigawa, who could make my son this angry?”
William’s tone was also childish and unreasonable, making Cherish, who had been busy the entire day, feel incredibly tired.
“Mr. Tanigawa? What happened? Did you et him? When? William Griffith, did you argue with him?”
Argue? With a kid? Was he that immature?

“What else could it be? You must’ve felt unhappy about my relationship with Tanigawa, so you went to look for him, causing trouble for him. What else?”
Cherish thought to herself that if this was the case, it’d be better for William to return to Sea City for a few months. Staying here would only cause trouble!
“Ha, so that’s what you think of ? Unreasonably causing trouble?” He ca to Japan for her, didn’t she know that?
Besides, he absolutely couldn’t accept yelling at Lewis!
“Fine, let’s say I’m unreasonably causing trouble. Cherish Turner, tell , when I asked you to marry
back then and you refused, was it because I had a son?”
