Upon hearing this answer, William Griffith’s expression clearly looked much better. Although his gaze towards Cherish Turner was still as proud as always, the obvious delight raised in his eyebrows could easily be seen.
“Since that’s not the case, let’s get married.” William lifted her against the wall, held her chin, and before she could react, a domineering kiss was already on her lips, not allowing for any resistance.

Cherish touched her lips, which were still hot and swollen from the kiss, feeling as if she were in a dream.
She couldn’t resist, nor did she want to resist, when a man she only knew for a few months suddenly proposed marriage. Even though many things were still unclear, how could anyone make her want to risk everything for a single mont?

As William looked at her silently, Cherish was afraid that he would get angry again so she lowered her eyes.
“I don’t want to marry you like this without anyone knowing. I know that you’re afraid your family won’t accept , right? That day at your house, I understood everything. I’m not like you—we have different backgrounds and statuses. Maybe you want to marry
first and then report back, but I don’t want to.”
At this mont, Cherish looked straight at William, her eyes especially sincere, and her back very straight.
“I hope that one day, I can stand before you with dignity, becoming your pride. Yes, I like that you protect , spoil , and give
everything. But I also want to be able to give you sothing in return. I hope that, at least in our relationship, we are equal. Do you understand?”
Of course, he understood. He knew that his Cherish was a good girl. It was because she was so wonderful that he wanted to hold on to her, no matter what.
