Chapter 886: 885 passed four levels in a row

One rush, one collision, breakthrough.

The Kansas City Chiefs’ offensive line is like a paper wall in front of Donald, completely unable to resist, Donald remains unstoppable.

However, does Mahos, knowing Donald’s capability, just foolishly wait to be sacked without any preparation?

Obviously not.

The reason a blitz is called a blitz is because of its suddenness, making it hard to guard against; but now, the Los Angeles Rams’ blitz is becoming a regular tactic, and naturally, Mahos won’t just sit still and be captured.

Step back!

Continuous backpedals!

No matter what the tactic is, Mahos’ first move is to step back.

Reed also seriously considered a quick short pass, relying on a quick release to exploit openings and avoid the sack crisis, making Donald unable to fully utilize his power.

But there are two problems.

First, Donald’s stride-speed is incredibly fast, a bull rush solves the problem, and if Mahos has to race against Donald for ti, the pressure invisibly increases.

Second, the Los Angeles Rams’ short pass defensive area is rigorous and dense, making it hard to find gaps, and a hasty short pass may not be effective.

So, Mahos did not go for a quick short pass, but stepped back to create space.

His eyes scanned the entire field observing the defensive matchups, with his peripheral vision always locked on Donald, Mahos’ steps were light and lively, pulling away in an instant.

Then, he locked on Donald.

Donald, with a bull rush, had just entered the pocket, imdiately realizing the trap—

To Mahos’ left, Li Wei on the right.

The two stood side by side, one on the left, one on the right, with only about three yards apart, which is the standard stance of the quarterback and running back in a pistol formation.

So?

Donald didn’t have ti to carefully assess, the bull rush’s essence is seamless execution, once the rhythm is interrupted, the entire threat and montum slow down, significantly reducing its power.

He had to choose.

Instinctively, Donald still chose Mahos.

Because he is the quarterback, and the football is still in Mahos’ hand, then Li Wei should be ready to block.

Donald tensed his left shoulder muscle, at full speed charging forward, both body and mind ready to collide with Li Wei.

But, it didn’t happen.

Donald didn’t capture the sight of Li Wei stepping up, instead, as he continued to surge forward, he watched helplessly as Mahos tossed the football laterally to Li Wei.

Donald: ???

Is this considered a two-on-one pass?

Donald hastily stopped and turned, attempting to restart quickly to catch up with Li Wei; he imdiately realized that Li Wei was prepared, speedily accelerating and instantly widening the distance.

Although speed is also one of Donald’s strengths, that is relative to the defensive line, in front of Li Wei, it’s inadequate.

Donald couldn’t even touch the dust on Li Wei’s heels, watching helplessly as Li Wei shot out from the right slot.

Donald didn’t give up, grit his teeth, and continued relentlessly pursuing from behind, but that number twenty-three silhouette was opening the gap at a visibly rapid pace.

The lineman appeared, one in front and one behind—

Donte-Flower and Corey Littleton.

Two formidable barriers! Double ghost blockades!

The Los Angeles Rams’ linen are very distinctive; Flor and Littleton in front of him are both 6.2 feet (191 cm), tall and large, with Flor originally from a defensive end background, one who switched to a lineman after joining Los Angeles.

So, for an average running back, the Los Angeles Rams’ linen are like an impenetrable wall, surrounding the running back like a hawk chasing chickens.

At this point, although Mahos and Li Wei’s cooperation tricked Donald, McVay had anticipated it, deploying Flor and Littleton for an encirclent.

A fierce onslaught!

With wolves in front and tigers behind, Li Wei was trapped in the ambush of ten sides.

Yet, Li Wei’s steps did not pause, continually pushing off, continually accelerating, seeing the mont he would encounter Flor and Littleton, his steps jerked in Littleton’s direction.

Littleton was fully alert, recently having been single-handedly flipped by Li Wei’s straight arm block, flipping a 6.2-foot giant embarrassingly on the spot.

Reflexively, Littleton bent his knees and lowered his center of gravity, ready to et the collision.

He didn’t expect Li Wei to feint, return his steps, and dart out in a slanted diagonal direction towards the left, directly colliding with Flor.

Flor held his breath: There is a road to heaven yet you don’t take it, only arriving at the door of hell.

Then you can’t bla .

Unlike the slender Littleton, Flor, with a defensive end background, is 261 pounds (118 kg), 15 kg heavier, like a mass of muscle.

At this mont, Flor didn’t step forward but waited in position, ready for Li Wei to throw himself into the net and then giving him a big hug—

He promises it will be full of warmth.

At that mont, Li Wei unexpectedly changed direction for the third ti without any pause, his right leg smoothly pulled his body past Flor’s left shoulder, sliding out, not giving Flor ti to close his hands, his steps already squeezed out between Flor and Littleton.

Light, agile, fluid, like a tango dance, frantically spinning on the edge of a knife.

Flor imdiately closed his arms but clumsily and slowly, like a bear, grabbing nothing but hot air.

Beside him, Littleton also realized that his vigilance had rendered his muscles stiff, standing like an idiot; quickly reacted, pushing his right shoulder towards Flor, trying to close the door and block Li Wei’s path.

Bam!

Littleton was happy: Hit him.

Just as Li Wei was about to succeed, Littleton’s shoulder had successfully collided into Li Wei.

Bang bang, bang bang.

Amid collision and compression, Li Wei staggered, besieged front and back, one side by Littleton, the other by Flor, like bumper cars; but stumbly he didn’t stop, kept surging, kept stepping forward, escaping from the crushing intense heat.

The center of gravity suddenly fell forward.

The greenery of the field rapidly enlarged in his eyes, instinctively, Li Wei supported the ground with his left hand, propelling his body to dash forward two or three steps; then, his left hand supported the ground a second ti, using the reaction force to lift his upper body, steps becoming firr.

Two steps, three steps.

Five steps, six steps.

In just a brief mont, Li Wei regained balance, but before he could stabilize, a violently explosive blue wave barreled down his path violently.

Safety John Johnson.

Johnson, a strong safety of similar height and weight as Li Wei, is tenacious, well-built, and in a fierce contest does not fall behind, hesitating not for a mont, plunging with a tackle, rcilessly hurling towards Li Wei, giving him no chance to catch his breath.

Li Wei was still stumbling, the rolling heat waves rushing in, in crisis he instinctively spun counterclockwise.

Three hundred and sixty degrees spin!

From changing direction to thrusting, then spinning, his stop-start control and explosiveness showcased Li Wei’s talent brilliantly, narrowly avoiding Johnson, both colliding back-to-back.

One headed north, the other south, eting for just a mont, then parting.

Li Wei attempted to move forward amid staggering and to falter, just two steps in, a blue storm from behind accurately tackled Li Wei’s waist, with a do-or-die attitude, tumbling him forward.
