Thalia was a little nervous.

Continuously preparing, constantly adjusting, anticipation and worry, joy and unease intertwined, waiting again and again, the long-awaited mont was about to arrive, yet at the mont when it really ca, she fell into anxiety and panic—

It was because she cared so much she worried she might ruin everything. The dream she had been yearning for had finally beco a reality, but it might turn into a disaster.

Once that dreadful thought took root, it spread like wildfire.

It was unstoppable.

Especially when her feet were truly standing on the red carpet, the flashes poured down overwhelmingly, the heat wave hitting her so fiercely, so madly, that her feet nearly lost their balance, losing her direction in the cold wind.

Nothing felt real.

They were a small independent crew, the director and actors all young, and it was all their first ti on the Berlin Film Festival red carpet. The dia and audience knew nothing about them, expecting cheers or applause was unthinkable, keeping low-key, modest, and calm was the right way to present themselves.

However, reality was different, like an illusion, confusing and disturbing the senses, blurring the line between dream and reality, the mind froze entirely in the cold wind.

Thalia felt as if she were stepping on the clouds, floating in midair.

Like a hydrogen balloon, precarious, at any mont might break free, spin 720 degrees, and utterly lose direction.

The overwhelming heat wave and the piercing cold collided, turning into a surging airwave, everything was dazzling, completely overwhelming.

Only when truly in the midst of it did she suddenly understand, standing among a cheering crowd and standing before one are completely different experiences, the experiences at Arrowhead Stadium and Hard Rock Stadium were of no use here, the nervousness and awkwardness exposed her green nature.

At that mont.

"Thalia!"

A shout shattered through the bustling noise, like a stone plunging into a lake, exploding on her eardrums, drawing Thalia’s attention instantly as she looked over.

Who?

On a stage like the Berlin Film Festival, at the site of the official premiere of her first movie, soone actually called her na?

Who was it?

Her gaze searched the crowd, a dark mass, completely unclear, now she finally understood how Li Wei felt when looking at the Arrowhead Stadium stands, her vision filled to the brim, bewildering and overwhelming.

So, how was it possible for Li Wei to notice her in those matches?

It was all just her imagination, wasn’t it?

Wait, Li Wei?

Amidst the hazy crowd and misty air, Thalia seed to catch a glimpse of a silhouette, that face looked steadily over amidst the vast sea of people, everything around was out of focus, only those eyes were so clear and bright.

Then, Thalia saw it.

Li Wei!

He stood among the crowd, tall and dashing, like an ordinary movie fan, smiling bright, eyes clear, anchoring himself amidst the chaos and turmoil, abruptly pulling her wandering thoughts back to earth.

That gaze, that smile, that cheer, awakened the mories within Thalia’s body.

Facing storms, facing challenges, facing fears, amidst anxiety and uneasiness firmly clenching a fist, striding boldly to et challenges, never giving up.

This, was the Kansas City Chiefs.

Thalia’s gaze lingered briefly in those deep eyes, the surge and crowd around faded into a blur, the hustle and bustle becoming irrelevant, leaving just the two of them, with all that noise and clamor disappearing into the void.

She seed to clearly see the starry sea hidden deep within those pupils, a layer of golden shimring light rippling, gradually calming the swirl of anxiety and nervousness in her mind, even the world quieted down, as if diving into a cobalt blue lake.

The collision of smiles, the reflection of gazes, a familiar scene, yet in a different city, a different space with swapped places.

Once, she was in the crowd, yet he could single her out at a glance.

Now, he was in the crowd, yet she spotted his presence at once.

Her heart thundered, and before she realized it, a smile crept onto her lips, completely blooming, her spirits soaring once more.

However, with a blink, with a fleeting distraction, he was gone.

He couldn’t be found again.

Her heart plumted from the heights, the emptiness and chaos leaving her flustered.

Thalia anxiously searched the crowd, but the throng obscured her focal point, faces and figures quickly spinning by, yet she couldn’t find him again.

Could it be...

Was it all her illusion?

Longing surged like the tide, filling her entire heart and brain in a flash, montarily overlooking the surrounding torrent.

Thalia smiled self-deprecatingly, gently shaking her head, she missed him so much she hallucinated on the red carpet?

Taking a deep breath, Thalia regained her courage—

Calm. Composed. Confident.

This was the stance of a Chieftain, this was how Li Wei faced all challenges, the Berlin winter paled before the onslaught in Foxborough.

Head high, chest out.

Thalia found herself again, that bold and daring girl, rushing to Kansas City alone, confidently confessing at Kennedy Airport, burning with passion as she dashed forward along the way.

Her steps, taken boldly, her entire vibrant presence captivating, the flashbulbs noticeably rallied, the shutters clicking clattered with explosive energy.

Mark-Cleaver couldn’t help himself, his finger pressing the shutter before his brain reacted.

His heart skipped a beat.

Once was enough, he didn’t recognize the figure, he should restrain himself, tonight’s premiere for newcors among the director and actors didn’t warrant fuss; yet unknowingly, his finger kept pressing.

Twice. Three tis. Four, five, six, seven tis.

Before realizing it, his finger rapidly fired a series of shots, trying to capture the snowflakes, cold, and breeze resting on the hem of that figure’s dress, stirring his emotions.

Indeed, this was the Berlin Film Festival, a gathering of attractive n and won, perpetually newer and more beautiful faces erged, looks weren’t that important; compared to re appearances, the charm of top celebrities were the true monts worth capturing.

Yet, once used to this visual feast, one could discern, so beauty was just skin-deep, a surface beauty, a literal beauty.

Whereas so beauty possessed strength, a three-dinsional beauty, a vibrant, lively beauty, one with true soul.

The forr, countless.

The latter, one in ten thousand.

And at this mont?

Thump. Thump thump thump thump.

The heart, doesn’t lie.
