Chapter 1506: Chapter 1505: Destroying the Niners
Ah.
Stunned, holding breath, deathly silent, even the heart has stopped beating.
In the live broadcast room, Buck’s mind was buzzing, staring dumbfounded at the unfolding events, emotion completely defeating reason.
“Mahos. Williams. Li Wei.”
“No, Li Wei, it’s Li Wei.”
“Run play with run coverage, the Kansas City Chiefs played a trick with their double running back tactic, and the San Francisco 49ers’ all-out pressure t a wall.”
“Li Wei, breakout.”
“Bosa, interception, Li Wei strike!”
“In the clash of strength versus strength, Li Wei directly overturned Bosa—in the literal sense, with Bosa spinning around like a windmill.”
“Kewan Williams steps in for defense, precise positioning, but… Marseille Turn!”
“Li Wei breaks free!”
“Amazing.”
“Li Wei. Li Wei! Li Wei is adjusting, Li Wei is staggering, Li Wei! Li Wei stands up again, unbelievable!”
“Sherman, tackle!”
“Li Wei, dodge! My God!”
“Three consecutive tis, Li Wei completed an incredible escape through the relentless waves of defense by the San Francisco 49ers.”
“Everyone thought the Kansas City Chiefs were going to routinely consu ga ti, leaving the San Francisco 49ers the last chance to struggle, but they didn’t!”
“With physical strength pushed to the limit, Li Wei displayed premier legendary willpower, enduring and tenacious, escaping tackles three tis.”
“Li Wei is advancing, Li Wei is running wildly, Li Wei is like a dagger piercing the heart of the San Francisco 49ers! Li Wei’s goal is absolutely not just a first down!”
Run, Li Wei, run!
Vaguely, Li Wei seed to hear calls from the stands, glancing sideways, he saw familiar figures.
It was… Annie Galas, and Felix Gray.
They were running wildly, carefree, sprinting uninhibitedly along the sideline following his steps, smiles fully blossoming, running with all their might even though exhausted, their laughter and cheers proudly blooming in the scorching heat.
“Run, rookie! Run!”
Those voices, so bright and so radiant.
In Li Wei’s nearly exhausted body, he seed to feel a hint of energy, as his knees that were nearly unable to support straightened again.
Push off.
This was the only thought in Li Wei’s mind, running wild, the fierce wind flowing underfoot, gritting his teeth, refusing to give up, refusing to stop, soul blazing, an unthinkable burst of energy erging from deep within, propelling steps forward amidst the storm.
Twenty-five-yard line.
Twenty-yard line.
Instinctively, Thalia left her seat, standing up, cheering with raised arms, with one thought dominating her mind.
“Fly!”
Shouting with all her might, forgetting herself, shouting, jumping like she’s running alongside Li Wei on the field, charging toward the finish line.
Not just her.
On the sideline, Coach Burns with a beer belly couldn’t control himself any longer, stumbling and trembling following Li Wei’s steps, face red and eyes brimming with tears, shouting, “Fly! Fly! Fly!”
Even though out of breath, even though wavering, Coach Burns didn’t stop, igniting a heat wave spreading throughout the whole stadium.
Fifteen-yard line.
That streak of red stretched long into a trail of afterimages, pulling the entire Hard Rock Stadium audience to their feet, hearts almost about to explode.
That’s the Edgerunner, that’s the rookie who stumbled into the world of football, that’s the running back who ran miracles with his own feet, pushing open a new world, at this mont, everything returns to the beginning, using his own feet, breaking the century-long shackles of the NFL on the Super Bowl stage.
Unstoppable!
At this mont, no more prejudice, no more envy, people temporarily forget the team barriers, simply enjoying the blood boiling in competitive sports, hearts uncontrollably following that figure’s teetering, exhausted steps, surging passion blazing crazily.
This is the true aning of competition, this is the charm of sports, concerning victory but transcending victory, challenging one’s limits in the midst of opposition and confrontation.
Fly!
The entire stadium, boiling, unanimous shouts twisting into a rope, swirling and echoing beneath the Miami sky, erupting in unbelievable fervor.
Ten-yard line.
Li Wei aims for more than just a third down and one, more than using run play to passively consu ti waiting for victory, but continues attacking, like a sharp spear, breaking the defense of the San Francisco 49ers with a relentless, continuous offensive.
Just as the San Francisco 49ers relied on defense to reach the Super Bowl, the Kansas City Chiefs have built their world with offense over the last three years, at the mont of showdown, at the instant of life and death, they will also break free from shackles and storm toward victory in their own way, with their own style.
Marching forward all-out.
Run, rookie.
Run, Annie, Felix.
Run, Chieftains!
The wind fiercely pounded the eardrums and invaded the steps, and right at this mont, behind him, a glimpse of white appeared, entering his vision—
It turned out to be the last line of defense safety for the San Francisco 49ers, Ward.
Ward gritted his teeth tightly, following Li Wei with the posture of burning life, knowing that in pure speed competition, he’s no match for Li Wei, but Li Wei has escaped tackles three tis, his strength that was already bottod out is even more exhausted, his current speed can’t match the peak.
A glimr of hope.
Ward sprinted with all his might, inch by inch closing in on Li Wei.
Close, getting closer.
Five-yard line.
But simultaneously, drawing near is the end zone.
Ward accelerated, forgetting himself as he charged toward Li Wei, fingertips seed to touch Li Wei’s jersey, that blaze almost burned his fingertips.
Yet, just then, Li Wei turned his head, the face under the helt showed a smile, corners of the mouth lightly curved upward.
Radiant, bright, like the sun.
Suddenly, gripped Ward’s heart.
Without waiting for Ward to react, Li Wei already charged forward, the scorching heat at the fingertips suddenly dashed out, instantly pulling away the distance once more.
Mighty, magnificent, like a storm.
Just like that, breaking free from crisis, rushed into the end zone line.
Ti, froze.
Everything, paused, from Hard Rock Stadium to Miami, to the North Arican continent finally spreading to the entire world, seemingly hit the pause button.
Carter could no longer control himself, tears streaming down, in a sorry state, but he had no ti to care about his ssiness, simply shouting at the field.
“Fly!”
On that night, on that green grass, their fight and passion eternally burning, refusing to surrender, fighting to the end, until the end of the world.
Boom!
Instantly, the entire Hard Rock Stadium shook violently, roaring and surging, with all reason and emotion disappearing, instantly swept into this storm, letting oneself rge into the field’s heat wave, following the waves and the jolts.
Then, erupting together.
Suddenly, Buck grabbed the microphone, channeling all her energy into it, calling out loudly.
“Touchdown ahhhhhhhhhh!”
Long, long, until all the oxygen within the chest was fully expelled, vision blurring, only now realizing she was crying tears of joy.
But, does that matter?
“Touchdown!”
“Li Wei!”
“Ga over, Li Wei destroyed the San Francisco 49ers and killed the ga with a touchdown!”
