Ninety seconds, three incomplete passes, strikeout.
Garoppolo’s counterattack ended hastily before it could generate any energy.
Everything seed sloppy and perfunctory. They entered with unity and full confidence, but completely lost their direction in the face of the Kansas City Chiefs Defense’s superb performance, ending the play before even finding their footing.
Garoppolo’s eyes were full of confusion.
"Strikeout!"
"This was the fastest, cleanest, and simplest strikeout of the entire ga. Three incomplete passes, just ninety seconds, and the Kansas City Chiefs Defense has once again won an opportunity for Li Wei to play, completely turning the ga around."
"The San Francisco 49ers, who had firmly grasped the initiative and were on the verge of victory, easily handed over the advantage with an interception and a strikeout in the crucial monts of this powerful clash, seemingly overwheld."
"On one hand, Shanahan’s tactical decisions are problematic. I don’t understand his reasoning for choosing three consecutive passes; the Running Back Committee was completely sidelined, especially right after Garoppolo’s interception."
"So far, Shanahan’s tactical adjustnts and on-field reactions have been excellent for three quarters, but now the real test is just beginning. In the upcoming offensive and defensive duel, Shanahan will need to put in two hundred percent of his energy."
Shanahan: Damn it! If I choose the ground ga, you say I don’t trust Garoppolo; if I choose to pass, you say Garoppolo is untrustworthy. Do you listen to your own words? You’ve said everything good and bad, how hurtful!
Looking at Garoppolo, standing on the field, unwilling and lost, Shanahan could only swallow his bitterness.
"On the other hand, though it’s hard to believe, the San Francisco 49ers look tired. Yes, we never expected this to happen, but the San Francisco 49ers seem more exhausted than the Kansas City Chiefs."
"Not only is the score tied, but the situation is deadlocked. For this pinnacle battle, the true test is precisely the last few minutes. Now it’s more about a test of willpower, and who can hold on."
"The next monts will be a test for both sides."
Pant, pant.
Standing by the field, Mahos was breathing heavily.
Just ninety seconds, yet he felt he hadn’t even had ti to swallow a sip of water. The Defense had completed their task, and it was their turn again, with a fierce burning fla ready to burst out of his chest at any mont.
Where’s the helt? Yes, the helt?
Mahos frantically turned his head to search, and Damien handed the helt to Mahos imdiately. Mahos checked to confirm it was indeed his helt, but his wildly beating heart could not calm down.
Though standing on flat ground, his knees trembled slightly, unstable. His legs went weak, almost causing him to fall, colliding into a heap of people beside him.
"Such an easily toppled quarterback, not a good sign."
A teasing voice ca from the side, easy to tell it was Li Wei without looking up. Mahos was sowhat sullen, attempting to argue in rebuttal, only to choke on his own saliva, breaking into a severe cough, looking quite embarrassed.
Li Wei reached out and handed a water bottle to Mahos.
"Take it slow, take it slow. The Special Duty Group still has tasks; you wouldn’t want to steal their thunder."
Mahos took the water bottle, noticing then that Li Wei’s fingers were also uncontrollably trembling slightly, making him pause, looking up at Li Wei with bewildered eyes.
However, Li Wei did not hide it. Instead, he opened his palm, displaying it for all to see—
Shake, shake, shake!
Everyone was speechless.
Li Wei shrugged lightly, "Can’t control it, so you better not pass to ."
Mahos: ...
Li Wei looked around and found everyone rather dazed, so exhausted their brains couldn’t function, "It’s a joke, a joke."
Yet no one laughed.
Mahos let out a long breath.
Hill couldn’t help but burst out laughing, "Professor, it’s rare for things to fall flat."
The atmosphere slightly relaxed, with corners of mouths gently rising.
Indeed, the stamina was running out. Not only Li Wei, but everyone else was about the sa. This year’s Super Bowl was different from previous years; the season seed extraordinarily long, sprinting all the way, burning out completely, yet still not seeing the end. That kind of depletion emptied the body and soul over and over again.
Until completely overdrawn, with no energy left.
But.
Under scrutiny, Li Wei clenched his fist with as much force as he could muster, "We need rest, but not now. I don’t want the ga to end now."
This ti, everyone got the ssage, chuckling lightly one by one.
Li Wei didn’t say much more. He just straightened his back, stood tall, and looked toward the field, shuffling in place to continue summoning his energy.
Eagerly ready to play.
On the field, the San Francisco 49ers’ punt position wasn’t good, and the punt didn’t have quality either. Hardman, acting as the returner, perford excellently, winning a starting offensive position for the Kansas City Chiefs at forty-three yards halfway down the field.
Li Wei turned to Mahos, "Hey, we shouldn’t waste such an excellent offensive position. How about it, ready to go crazy once more?"
Mahos’ knees trembled, his chest burned, his blood boiled. If he sat down at this mont, he strongly doubted whether he could stand up again. But looking at Li Wei, a smile spread across his face, with boundless boldness surging through his body, "Let the storm be even more intense."
With a hearty laugh, heroism stirred.
One by one, they all raised their heads, straightened their chests, stood tall and straight once more, and incredibly, found a bit more energy again.
Breaking into pieces, they didn’t fear at all.
Then, the Kansas Chiefs Offense took the field.
Soon, they found that they were not the only ones tired.
They hadn’t anticipated that Garoppolo’s offensive drive lasted rely ninety seconds. The San Francisco 49ers Defense hadn’t anticipated it either, with defenders hastily entering the field, gasping and sweating profusely, embarrassed, much like compared to the Kansas Chiefs Offense:
A fine balance.
Moreover, the difference was that the San Francisco 49ers Defense was under more pressure, as they had no retreat. They had to complete this defensive play, or else the San Francisco 49ers would face a trailing situation, and then they would have to rely on Garoppolo’s Hail Mary.
No, it shouldn’t be like this.
Shanahan still believed in his defensive group. The San Francisco 49ers must stop Li Wei here.
So, within the helts of the San Francisco 49ers defenders, one could clearly see eyes burning with all their vitality, energy bursting forth in a desperate circumstance to stop the Kansas Chiefs’ offensive montum.
After all, the Kansas City Chiefs have completed touchdowns on two consecutive drives.
However, from Li Wei’s perspective, this was an opportunity: too eager, the San Francisco 49ers were overly desperate to turn the tide, which might further disrupt their already chaotic tactical frawork.
Li Wei looked at Mahos.
Sure enough, Mahos noticed as well. They exchanged a glance, both lining up to face the storm calmly.
