Chapter 1397: Chapter 1396: Full of Vitality

Just now when he intervened, Watt was serious, one hundred percent.

Watt believed that in this Arican League playoff, no one wanted victory more than he did, not just to prove himself, but as one last powerful strike against the unknown and bewildering future.

Even if it ant burning his life, shattering his bones, or crawling forward on his knees, he longed to reach the victory finish line before the Kansas City Chiefs.

Tick, tick, tick…

The biological clock left for Watt was running out.

Watt didn’t want to leave any regrets. He knew that so things couldn’t be achieved by his efforts alone, but at the very least, he didn’t want to have regrets.

So, focused, devoted, imrsed, without any reservations, until the ga ends.

Li Wei didn’t take the field, which was a good thing; but Mahos was still on the field.

More importantly, Li Wei was resting and recovering. When he took the field again, the Houston Texans needed to face even fiercer and stronger attacks. From any perspective, they had no room for complacency; fighting all-out to the end was the only way out.

Then, Watt took the field—

“Watt VS Mahos,” an unexpected but reasonably thrilling scenario.

Firstly, Watt continuously created trouble on the defensive front line, pressuring, colliding, and interfering. Although there was no sack, Watt undoubtedly demonstrated his dominance in the frontline confrontation.

The first half was gradually coming to an end, and Watt’s body started to protest, unable to maintain a high frequency state. This was an expected situation and also the fundantal reason why Watt gradually stepped back from the spotlight this season; but people forgot, Watt’s standards were different from ordinary players, and Watt’s fatigue was fundantally different from ordinary players’ fatigue. The residual energy in Watt’s tank could easily surpass many players’ peak states.

Furthermore, Watt’s experience and wisdom were vividly displayed at this ti, in how to efficiently discomfort the quarterback, and disrupt offensive strategies effectively. He still had his own style, which was also the real key for Watt to continue playing the role of the leader of the defensive group despite being plagued by injuries.

Not only was Mahos embarrassed, but Damien also looked disheartened in front of Watt.

All along, Mahos showcased his maturity and transformation this season in adversity, facing Watt’s aggressive approach, he even actively used himself as bait, with deceptive passing actions, misguiding north while pointing south, misleading the defensive group by capabilities.

More importantly, the control of the release rhythm was eye-catching, at tis fast, at tis slow, with rush releases and delayed passes, amid the tense and chaotic strong confrontation, firmly controlling the situation, and the ever-changing strategies always frustrated opponents.

In this series of attacks, “Cheating Motion” shone once more. Mahos realized the Houston Texans might step forward to intercept, intentionally changing the release rhythm and using fake moves to disrupt the opponent’s judgnt, finally finding the space for passing connections.

Confrontation, intense and stalemated.

Sotis the Houston Texans’ defensive group shone brightly, sotis the Kansas City Chiefs’ offensive group was spectacular.

In the fierce tug-of-war and scuffle, the Kansas City Chiefs still held a slight upper hand, pushing into the opponent’s territory, stumbling all the way. Mahos proved Watt’s worries correct with actions, even without Li Wei, they remained a team worth being wary of.

But, at the critical juncture, in the deadly mont, the Houston Texans’ defensive group finally showed the montum of the divisional ga, instantly raising their status to shatter the balance.

“Sack!”

“Beautiful!”

“Watt! JJ-Watt! The second sack of this ga!”

“A completely unpredicted blitz caught the Kansas City Chiefs off-guard! Although Mahos tried to escape with his feet, Watt, determined to succeed, left Mahos no chance, effectively extinguishing Mahos’ passing possibility with a quick and direct sack.”

“Watt brought surprise again!”

“When the entire league believed Watt no longer possessed top-tier player energy, Watt displayed a vigorous stance in this Arican League playoff, capable of clashing with Li Wei without falling behind, and pushing Mahos to the extre, turning the tide with his strength alone.”

“Three outs.”

“The Kansas City Chiefs faced their first three-out this ga, now as the first half is about to step into the two-minute official pause, the Houston Texans have three tiouts left, the opportunity lands in the guests’ hands. If Watson seizes the chance, the halfti psychological state may be completely different.”

You could clearly feel, Mahos slightly regretted, along with so disappointnt—

No matter whether he cared or not, the fact was there before their eyes, Li Wei didn’t play, and the Kansas City Chiefs faced their first three-out.

Even though they all knew, even with Li Wei on the field, they would face such difficulties. No team could maintain top-tier state in strong confrontations throughout the entire ga; but that sort of regret and disappointnt inevitably crept into their minds.

Li Wei was preparing to speak, but Kelsey caught him first, “Uh-oh, now they’ll say we can’t manage without the rookie. Previously everyone caught on the rookie, madly criticizing, now everyone flocks the rookie with praises, oh, God, I truly dread dealing with those reporters.”

Li Wei unfolded his hands with a calm face, “Now you know my worth, huh? How about this, rember to give ten percent of everyone’s off-season bonus.”

Hill clutched his chest, “The whole team earns the most, and you still want to snatch money from our pockets? I really didn’t think you were this kind of rookie!”

Hahaha, collective laughter.

Mahos also snapped back at this ti, looking at Li Wei, slightly self-conscious, scratching his head, “Rookie, I just…”

Li Wei, “JJ is a beast, right? I feel he’ll fight all-out tonight. My bones are creaking now.”

Laughter erupted around, and Mahos also finally showed a smile.

Li Wei gazed over the field, finding Watt in the crowd, he was serious, felt Watt was burning his life, pouring everything he had into this ga, worthy of respect; precisely because of this, Watt deserved Kansas City Chiefs’ full-on fierce fight, they should respond to Watt’s fighting spirit with one hundred percent stance.

Then, Li Wei turned his head to the other side, “Now, we need the defensive group to turn the tide.”

Kelsey was the first to cheer up, “Ho-ho-ho, defense! Defense!”

Jones, Fuller, Higgins, all were stunned.

Mahos and Hill joined in the cheering, “Defense! Defense!”

Soon, the entire Arrowhead Stadium roared to life, the unified cheers pouring out like a tidal wave.

At this ti, Watt supporting Watson froze, looked up at the pervasive Crimson Tide Storm of the crowd, a smile crept to the corner of his mouth, “Looks like we did the right thing, they are starting to get nervous. Next, the stage is all yours.”

The second half of the sentence was ant for Watson.

But Watson did not respond to Watt, quietly listening to this storm, the sound of blood burning echoing in his eardrums.
