NFL, describing its charm is not a simple task. There are many reasons it can stand as the top among the four major sports leagues in the North Arican continent.

But undeniably, in terms of intense competition and the suspense of the season’s outcos, it never disappoints.

This season is no exception. The Kansas City Chiefs have a flawless undefeated season, yet the playoffs are still filled with endless possibilities, with the anticipation rising rather than falling.

You can see it from the life-and-death battle for playoff wild card spots in the last week of the regular season. The air was thick with a bloody atmosphere.

One ga, one victory or defeat, bearing the weight of the whole season, standing at the crossroads of destiny. Countless possibilities arise, heaven in the morning, hell at night, and completely different ga outcos could bring entirely different results, overturning the conclusion of the entire season.

First, with a victory guaranteeing a wild card spot, the Pittsburgh Steelers were humiliated by their divisional archrival Baltimore Ravens on the road, losing their chance with a crushing defeat and handing the opportunity to their competitors.

Next, the Indianapolis Colts needed a victory to grasp a slim chance but had to depend on others as well. They lost their way under ntal pressure, suffering a big defeat at the hands of the Jacksonville Jaguars, burying their own hopes.

Again, the Oakland Raiders, who also needed a victory to keep their faint hopes alive, faced off against the Denver Broncos with determination until the last mont. Their attempt at a last-minute reverse failed, closing the season with a "15:16" defeat.

Lastly, the Tennessee Titans, needing both a victory and a Pittsburgh Steelers defeat, stayed focused without being led by the nose, took control of their destiny, and defeated their divisional rival Houston Texans.

The AFC regular season battles ended in a cruel fashion.

Four gas, four scenarios, four directions, all leading to one result—

The Pittsburgh Steelers, who had control but ended the season in a floundering manner. After the Brown and Bell farce, Tomlinson couldn’t perform magic again, resulting in missing the playoffs for the second consecutive year.

The Indianapolis Colts and Oakland Raiders, facing different challenges, yearned for redemption. They needed to fight with all they’ve got for a slim chance but lost to their divisional rivals, inferior to them this season, before their playoff competitors made mistakes, inevitably sliding into the abyss of a disastrous season.

Only the Tennessee Titans.

After a rollercoaster season with twists and turns, they perford flawlessly in the final push of the regular season, erging from chaos in an incredible manner, purging distractions, focusing completely on themselves, seizing the slim opportunity they created, then sincerely praying and waiting for the favor of the Goddess of Fortune.

In the end, they took control of their destiny, returning to the playoffs after the 2017 season and rewriting the AFC playoff picture with their own strength.

It wasn’t the self-proving Pittsburgh Steelers caught in a whirlpool of controversy, nor the Indianapolis Colts, which suffered a fatal blow during the offseason and sought a tough rebirth, not even the Oakland Raiders trying to ignite fan passion before heading to Las Vegas. It was the Tennessee Titans!

Exciting, truly exciting!

As expected, it’s the NFL. The suspense lasted till the last mont, embodying the principle, "until the ga’s final mont, everything is possible."

The entire league was in awe, with applause echoing—

Just as no one anticipated that the Kansas City Chiefs could keep a sixteen-ga undefeated streak in the regular season, similarly, no one predicted that the Tennessee Titans would erge from the chaotic last monts, keeping the excitent till the last minute despite the seemingly stable situation of the AFC.

By then, all AFC playoff berths were secured.

The number one seed, AFC West Champion, Kansas City Chiefs, sixteen wins, zero losses.

The number two seed, AFC North Champion, Baltimore Ravens, fourteen wins, two losses.

The number three seed, AFC East Champion, New England Patriots, twelve wins, four losses.

The number four seed, AFC South Champion, Houston Texans, ten wins, six losses.

Wild Card.

The fifth seed, second place in AFC East, Buffalo Bills, ten wins, six losses.

The sixth seed, second place in AFC South, Tennessee Titans, nine wins, seven losses.

In fact...

The gap is evident, clear at a glance.

The gap among the top four seeds was all two wins; the fifth seed had already secured a playoff spot a week early with one more win. The AFC... remains the AFC, the competitive landscape is still steady and fully anticipated, with suspense resolving weeks before the end.

Moreover, it’s worth ntioning that among the playoff teams, the Kansas City Chiefs played against all the other four teams during the regular season except Buffalo Bills, winning each ga. At this mont, one can truly feel the Chiefs’ dominant power this season.

Compared with the dominant performance of the first three seeds throughout the season, the suspense for the sixth seed’s spot was maintained until the last mont of the last week, with the Tennessee Titans practically crawling out from a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood, clenching their teeth to open up a new sky, presenting another spectacle.

Without comparison, there is no harm. The AFC’s vastly differing playoff journey is indeed laughable and cry-worthy, even reaching the point of being called a spectacle.

So, among these teams, who can challenge the Kansas City Chiefs?

Maybe, the Buffalo Bills?

This season, under the leadership of second-year quarterback Josh Allen, the defensive stronghold Buffalo Bills have undergone a transformation, also gaining offensive prowess. Years of suppression and anger from always being overshadowed by the New England Patriots in the AFC East seem finally to see a breakthrough and reversal hope.

Defense remains their forte; offense has beco the key to turning the tables this season, with the young and energetic Buffalo Bills holding infinite possibilities.

If not, a revenge drama?

Just like last season when the Kansas City Chiefs continuously avenged their regular-season defeats by the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams in the playoffs and reached the Super Bowl, this season, could it be the New England Patriots, Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans, and Tennessee Titans who were defeated by the Chiefs in the regular season, accomplishing revenge feats, enacting a "New York Giants" legend, becoming this season’s black swan, flipping the league on its head?

In the NFL, in single-ga elimination playoffs, on the single-log bridge leading to the Super Bowl, anything is possible.

The Kansas City Chiefs, who were invincible throughout the regular season, now lay all their cards on the table, showing all their talents to their competitors, with no secret weapons or hidden surprises left. The other teams should have studied their ga footage repeatedly by now.

Entering the playoffs, once again, they beco the target of everyone’s desire to defeat, facing this season’s 108th challenge to be the team everyone wants to conquer. For the first ti, they stand on the tightrope of success or failure; the playoffs allow no room for mistakes. One misstep, total collapse.

This, without a doubt, the Kansas City Chiefs are the absolute target; the only question remaining is, who could beco this year’s Little Manning?
