Bosa: Here we go.
In an instant, Bosa’s pupils contracted, noticing Li Wei’s movent direction, directly facing him, preparing for a frontal breakthrough. This made Bosa’s entire body tense, fearlessly charging forward for a head-on collision.
One step, two steps.
Bosa was going all out, and he could see that Li Wei was too. Let them face off head-to-head and fight to the finish.
The power deep within the dantian fully erupted.
Three steps.
Impact.
The collision of solid, heavy forces erupted with astonishing energy.
Bosa completely gave up the idea of tackling and prepared to use sheer force to topple Li Wei—
In the face of absolute power, Li Wei was nothing. Speed and agility were Li Wei’s advantages, and choosing a frontal breakthrough had no chance at all.
But wait, didn’t Li Wei know this?
A thought flashed quickly through Bosa’s mind but didn’t have ti to fernt. The power of the head-on collision already made the whole world shake.
Li Wei, directly knocked down.
But, what about the football?
Bosa himself was also tottering, and only now noticed that Li Wei’s embrace didn’t hold the football. Was it a fumble?
Out of the corner of his eye, Bosa caught sight of a red shadow slipping past Li Wei like a shadow clone, swirling around Li Wei and Bosa, turning into a wisp of smoke.
Bosa instinctively pounced to the left, but caught nothing. Only then did he realize it was a shadow; he was a step too late.
His heart chilled—
Tricked.
Mahos bent and hunched to hide the football he held.
Li Wei, fully committed to running, firmly caught the defense’s attention, while the recently slumping Mahos was utterly ignored.
But Mahos didn’t mind.
He stayed focused, fulfilling the quarterback’s duties amid chaos and confrontation:
Read the defense.
The Los Angeles Lightning front chose a seven-man pass rush, gambling everything on intensive pressure; yet the defensive backfield’s four players shadowed step by step, closely sticking to Kansas City Chiefs’ passing targets.
Clearly, they didn’t want a repeat of the tragedy of leaving Kelsey unguarded.
For a while, no passing windows; anwhile, Li Wei and Bosa’s frontal confrontation couldn’t buy much ti, plus Ingram’s nacing presence. Mahos made a snap decision, completing a judgnt and making a choice.
Following step by step behind Li Wei, until Li Wei and Bosa collided, Mahos sidestepped, his light footsteps crossing the line of scrimmage.
"Run, Patrick! Run!"
Mahos was fully imrsed, complete focus poured into his feet pushing against the ground, using his entire mind and body to feel the impact’s rebound force, light as a feather at full speed.
Push off, run.
Force, sprint.
Everything was just that simple, the wind whistling around his eardrums.
Then, the Los Angeles Lightning defenders finally reacted to the encirclent.
Without hesitation, Mahos slid to the ground, ending the advance.
Ten yards, another first down.
"Beautiful! Mahos!"
"Kansas City Chiefs bring another surprise!"
"In the face of being completely suppressed by the opponent’s defensive frontline, Kansas City Chiefs simply exploited the opponent’s strategy, luring the enemy with a false advance to the East, reversing balance with a read option offense executed with variations twice in a row."
"This ti it was a collaboration between Li Wei and Mahos, with one clearing the way, Mahos seizing the opportunity to secure another first down."
"The situation has turned around."
The Los Angeles Lightning defense realized the crisis at once, they absolutely couldn’t allow the opponent to gain montum, or it would render all their previous efforts in vain.
Kansas Chiefs’ offense finally reclaid a bit of rhythm, but they were not satisfied with just that, this was rely the beginning.
Back and forth, maneuvering and deploying, the atmosphere was obviously tightening.
First and ten, Mahos quickly short-passed to Hardman for a completion, but the Los Angeles Lightning defense tightened its net, completing a tackle imdiately.
Second and seven, Mahos screened a short pass to Li Wei, who caught it behind the line, advancing six yards with Kelsey’s clearing, before encountering a three-man encirclent.
Third and one, Damien ca on to push for a yard, breaking through head-on with a strong stance to continue the offense, securing a first down, entering the opponent’s half at the forty-yard line.
The intensity of the contest kept escalating!
So, what exactly was Reed planning?
With nurous unpredictable tactical changes, the Chiefs continued to disrupt the rhythm, forcing the Los Angeles Lightning defensive frontline’s pressure attempts to repeatedly fail, breaking the opponent’s will in the fierce clash, reversing the situation.
Simply put, the pressure from the Los Angeles Lightning’s defensive frontline objectively existed, even if Kansas City’s Chiefs understood the opponent’s tactics, it remained troubleso; but the Los Angeles Lightning’s defensive frontline couldn’t maintain endless pressure, they would beco fatigued and hit a low. Reed was now forcing them to change tactics, to disrupt the ga’s rhythm.
After that, a ground run by Damien, a read option offense short pass by Mahos to Watkins, a screen short pass to Kelsey—
Third and three conversion successful, Kansas City Chiefs continued to advance in the Los Angeles Lightning’s half.
Alternating speed, combining passes and runs, Kansas City Chiefs hadn’t even used the "Cheating Motion," yet the offensive group was already revitalized, continuing the advance.
anwhile, Mahos was slowly adjusting, adapting to the intensity of the ga.
The Los Angeles Lightning defense realized their window was rapidly closing, and they must go all out without reservation.
The atmosphere subtly changed.
But who would have thought the Kansas City Chiefs were keenly aware of the tense situation—
Li Wei moved before the snap, "Cheating Motion" was deployed!
Bosa was itching to go, slightly anxious, barely able to control himself—
Behind him, outside linebacker Davis was already keeping pace with Li Wei.
Near the red zone, Los Angeles Lightning deliberately maintained a zone defense posture, seemingly wary of Mahos launching a long pass direct to the end zone; but in fact, still playing man-to-man, they prepared to deploy multiple pass rushes again, as long as they could sack Mahos once, they would not only halt the Chiefs’ montum but intimidate Mahos as well.
Todays Mahos had already thrown one interception, maybe the defensive group could create another surprise?
However, amidst truths and untruths, the Los Angeles Lightning’s defensive tactics were still exposed, no wonder the entire league grit their teeth at the Kansas City Chiefs’ "Cheating Motion."
Reed must be credited with keeping a cool head.
But now, Los Angeles Lightning were in too deep to turn back, their only option was to execute their tactics to the extre.
"Attack."
Mahos announced the snap.
Bosa imdiately stepped up, moving swiftly, with the determination of a tiger on the prowl, instantly breaking through the offensive line’s clearing, wasting no ti cutting into the pocket where Mahos was now in sight.
Bosa kept advancing, not letting his guard down.
But once again, he was a step too slow.
Mahos stepped back, paused, raised his hand to pass, releasing the ball in just over a second, not giving Bosa any chance as he completed the throw.
Effortlessly, gracefully, with flair—
Who was the target of the pass?
