Lu Jinxi paused for a mont, then reached out and pulled her into his arms, comforting her, "Yinyin, forget about those unhappy pasts. From now on, I will take good care of you."
Huo Nanyin looked up at him with a smile, her eyes showing a hint of lingering attachnt because she never thought she could lean on him again and receive his love one day.

Huo Nanyin’s eyes couldn’t help but moisten. She looked at him with a knowing smile and said, "If I gave up, you wouldn’t have a chance now."
Lu Jinxi looked at her in confusion. She just smiled, then put the ring back in the box and said, "Let’s not rush into things. Wait until you regain your mory before making a decision."

Huo Nanyin smiled, unsure whether to call it fate or destiny. She wasn’t unmoved by his words. She also longed to marry him. Though she once resented, she no longer did. She just feared that history would repeat itself.
