Though they ca out to buy clothes for her, she kept wandering around the n’s section, picking out a few casual outfits he normally wouldn’t wear. Fortunately, Shen Yanchen was a natural clothes hanger; he looked good in any type of clothing.
She circled him, scrutinizing the clothes on him and said, "See, you shouldn’t be wearing suits all the ti. You should relax once in a while."
Shen Yanchen was soone who disliked hassle. He always had his clothes custom-made, just provided his asurents, and had them delivered directly to his door. If he had to shop for himself, he would pick out the right size and pay without fuss.
But today, Gu Qimiao kept dragging him to change in and out of clothes, and to keep his wife in a good mood, he had to comply reluctantly.
Gu Qimiao thought her husband looked handso no matter what he wore. As Shen Yanchen changed in the fitting room, she started looking for new styles again, while the shop assistant, knowing she was a big custor, kept introducing different outfits to her.
"Gu Qimiao, co in for a second." His unhappy voice ca from the fitting room.
"What’s wrong?"
Gu Qimiao walked over, puzzled, and heard him say from inside, "The zipper is stuck, can you help ?" As he spoke, the fitting room door opened a crack. Just as Gu Qimiao peeked in, a hand reached out and pulled her inside.
"Which zipper?"
"The one below." As he spoke, he was already guiding her hand downwards, touching a certain part. Gu Qimiao quickly pulled her hand away, her face turning red as she glared at him, "What are you doing?! There are people outside!"
Shen Yanchen ignored her embarrassnt and pressed her against the fitting room door, looking down at her and threatening, "If you keep picking, I’ll deal with you right here first!"
Gu Qimiao saw a sofa in the fitting room and couldn’t help but swallow, her mind already imagining them doing that on the sofa. Realizing her thoughts, she snapped out of it and pushed him away, saying, "No way! There was bleeding last ti, we have to protect the baby!"
Shen Yanchen frowned at her, stripping off the clothes he was trying on and putting back on what he wore when he arrived.
Gu Qimiao didn’t mind his nakedness, taking the clothes he tried on and saying, "This one looks good too. We’ll take it."
Shen Yanchen buttoned his shirt and glared at her, "Get out!"
Gu Qimiao knew he was already impatient, but instead of obeying, she walked up to him, moved his hands aside, and started buttoning his shirt for him, complaining under her breath, "Why are you so grumpy? I’m buying you new clothes, aren’t you happy? How many wives go shopping and only think about buying clothes for their husbands?"
He let her button his shirt, looking down at the petite her and said, "Should I give you an award for being the best wife then?"
She smiled, her eyes curving into crescents, and shook her head lightly, "No need for that, just praise verbally and that’s enough."
Giving her a side-eye, she took the suit jacket from the sofa and said, "Let’s go, I’ll pay."
Though Shen Yanchen was displeased, he thought it was rare she would co with him to buy clothes, so even though his face was stern, he indulged her in his heart. Hearing her say she would pay, he pulled out his card and handed it to her, saying, "The PIN hasn’t changed."
