Jiang Ci was woken up by her phone. It was a WeChat ssage from Jiang Yi: "Sis, weren't you looking for a caregiver for Mom? Soone recomnded a really good one. Want to co with to check it out?" The ssage was followed by a hotel address. Jiang Ci thought to herself that her brother was finally doing sothing right. Just as she had a spat with Lu Yudong and felt uncomfortable staying together, she told Lu Yudong she needed to get off and took a cab to the hotel.
When she arrived at room 1402, Jiang Yi was already waiting. Seeing Jiang Ci, he was visibly pleased and eager, "You're here?"
"Why are we eting the caregiver at a hotel?" Jiang Ci looked around the hotel, feeling sothing was off.

"I'll take you to the hospital," Chu Shuo said with concern.
Jiang Ci breathed a slight sigh of relief, realizing this was Jiang Yi's doing alone, and Chu Shuo wasn't aware.
"Don't co near , my brother's a bastard!" Jiang Ci said, stumbling off the bed and running into the bathroom.
She locked the door, turned on the shower, and drenched herself in cold water. Though it was sumr, the cold water was chilling, but it helped extinguish certain urges.
Chu Shuo stayed by the bathroom door, asking, "Jiang Ci, are you sure you're okay? Co out, I'll take you to the hospital."
