Lu An handed her a tissue and said, “1 have so business tomorrow. I’ll be away for a while, probably a week.”

“You’re sad about it?” Lu An raised an eyebrow.
“No.”
Lu An patted Jin Nian’s shoulder and motioned for her to get up from his body. The sll of alcohol from the social gathering earlier had not dissipated, and now he wanted to take a shower.
However, Jin Nian misunderstood, thinking that Lu An was unsatisfied with her response. She quickly corrected herself, “I’m sad now.”

“Then take a leave of absence.”
