It was the end of Yan Yueqing’s first month in Chunyue City.
A local tycoon took the lead and invited three to four dozen notable and wealthy patrons, booking a grand banquet hall at the city’s most luxurious Xuansi Hotel.
There was a division between an outer banquet and an inner banquet.

When the topic of the entertainnt sector ca up, everybody listened politely, albeit without much interest.

"Oh? Interesting," a rich rchant in the front row set down his wine glass and raised his eyebrows slightly. "What’s her na?"
"Yan Yueqing," the responder said in a hushed, mysterious tone, "Not only does she have a hand in the business world, but she also has a complicated background."
"Yan Yueqing?" The corners of the rchant’s mouth curved slightly, as if savoring the na. "Isn’t she that actress who was recently popular online?"
"Yes, that’s her!"
The smile on the wealthy rchant’s face faded slightly, and his eyes held a trace of disdain: "And here I thought we were talking about soone significant. Just an actress, and she claims to be a businesswoman?"
The people next to him smiled awkwardly.
Though he wasn’t Yan Yueqing’s fan, he genuinely admired the girl from the bottom of his heart.

By unspoken agreent, the conversation moved away from that topic and back to today’s banquet guests.
Just as everyone was chatting spiritedly, the lights in the hall suddenly dimd.
A noble and elegant figure slowly entered, the lighting behind her creating a halo effect as though an angel had descended. She wore a simple yet ornate white dress, her movents poised, her expression serene.
She was like a proud white peacock strutting through a field of flowers, maintaining the gentlest smile, yet anyone could see her untouchable, regal deanor.
The rchant’s eyes lit up: "Who is this lady?"
Soone next to him, looking forward to the drama, said, "That’s Yan Yueqing, the one we were just talking about."

She’s this beautiful!?
The rchant’s eyes rolled with greedy desire.
Yet she did not choose any table to sit but walked straight through toward the door leading to the inner banquet.
Everyone’s pupils shook with shock!!!
What?! She was the guest of the inner banquet?
Yan Yueqing knocked on the door of the inner banquet’s loft.
The rchant’s eyes narrowed slightly: "Tsk, figures. A woman like her would only be fitting to accompany others."
In the depths of his gaze, however, lay a calculating glint on how to get her in his possession.
