The sacred site was enveloped in silence, a heavy atmosphere hanging over the gathering.

Alpha Grey’s wrists were bound with silver cuffs, his smirk firm as he was escorted toward the center of the ancient room.

He looked around with a glint of confidence, inwardly thinking that this wouldn’t be the first ti he’d walked away from here with little more than a slap on the wrist.

"This ti would be no different," he told himself, already planning his return—and the final elimination of Leo.

As he was led forward, he spotted Aurora.

She stood quietly among the gathering, her face set in a stony mask.

The sight of her made his smirk widen, but when her gaze t his, she looked away, her jaw clenched.

Alpha Grey’s eyes road the room until they landed on Lucas, who sat in a wheelchair.

For a mont, the sight surprised him; he hadn’t expected Lucas to be here, much less in that condition.

But he quickly shrugged it off.

There was no one in this room, disabled or otherwise, who could stand against him.

He was brought to the center of the chamber, his smirk firm as he turned to face the Elders.

But his confidence faltered when he noticed sothing unusual—these weren’t just Elders from his own pack.

No, these were Rossi pack Elders as well, so of the most influential voices among the Alphas.

Alpha Grey’s eyes flicked to the side, noting a handful of lower-ranking Alphas, and then to Lucas, who was watching him with a hint of a smirk.

Sothing was wrong.

The lead Elder from the Rossi pack stepped forward, his voice cutting through the silence. "Alpha Grey, are you aware of the evidence brought before us today, detailing your cris and acts of cruelty?"

Alpha Grey narrowed his eyes, a hint of irritation in his voice. "Why are rival Elders here? And what’s the reason for the presence of high-ranking Alphas behind ?"

The Rossi Elder’s eyes narrowed, clearly insulted.

A murmur ran through the Elders before another Rossi Elder spoke, his tone cold. "We are here because you refused to release lands belonging to the Rossi pack. Your arrogance brought us here."

There was sothing in his voice that made a chill run down Alpha Grey’s spine.

But he lifted his chin defiantly, forcing himself to look unaffected.

The lead Elder from his own Grey pack spoke up next. "The evidence indicates that you unlawfully held onto land that was under a five-year gratuitous lease—land that should have been returned. Is that true?"

Alpha Grey opened his mouth to respond, but before he could speak, another Elder from the Rossi pack interjected, his tone laced with disgust.

"Docunts have shown a pattern of past actions, Alpha Grey. Like your involvent in the elimination of young pups solely to solidify your rule. Additionally, we have evidence of your attempt to eliminate Leo Grey, who nearly suffered heart failure as a result."

Murmurs broke out among the gathered Alphas, and Alpha Grey clenched his fists.

This was getting out of hand.

He shot a glare toward Lucas, only to find him still sitting in that wheelchair, his expression a study of calm.

The lead Elder from the Grey pack turned back to Alpha Grey, his voice laced with a finality that made the room go silent. "Due to these actions, we hereby remove you from your positions as Alpha King and Alpha of Alphas. You are no longer fit to lead the Grey pack. Your cruelty and disregard for life have stripped you of all right to rule."

"What?" Alpha Grey’s voice ca out in a choked stamr.

He glanced around the room, desperation flickering in his eyes. "What... what do you an?"

"You have been stripped of your titles," the Grey Elder repeated, unflinching.

"And furthermore," he continued, "the Rossi pack will demand the return of the land that was unlawfully withheld. You will comply—whether willingly or by force."

Alpha Grey’s face twisted in outrage.

"This is absurd!" he shouted. "I am the Alpha King! I have ruled with strength and wisdom—this is nothing but a betrayal!"

Among the gathered Elders, Aurora stood silently, her gaze cold as she looked at her father.

The punishnt handed down didn’t feel like enough, not for the years of damage he had inflicted on others, nor for what he had done to her son.

Alpha Grey’s arrogance, his unrepentant cruelty... it deserved far more than just the loss of a title.

One of the Rossi Elders, standing near the front, glanced over at Lucas, as though waiting for a sign.

Lucas t the Elder’s gaze and gave a single, firm nod.

With that, the Elder stepped forward, his expression grim.

"There is one more matter, Alpha Grey," he said, his voice filling the chamber. "For your abduction of Leo Grey after your first attempt to end his life, you are sentenced to ten years of imprisonnt."

A stunned silence settled over the room as the final punishnt was announced.

Alpha Grey’s face contorted with fury.

"This is ridiculous! You have no right!" he roared, his voice echoing against the stone walls. "This is an outrage! You cannot do this to !"

The Rossi Elder’s gaze was firm. "Your actions brought this upon you, Alpha Grey. You endangered your own people, hard innocents, and refused to adhere to our sacred laws. This council finds you unfit to lead, and your punishnt is the consequence of your deeds."

Aurora watched her father’s reaction, her heart both heavy and resolute.

A part of her couldn’t deny the flicker of satisfaction seeing him stripped of his power.

For years, he had ruled through fear and violence, casting aside the lives of anyone who dared to stand in his way.

Now, he was facing the consequences he had always thought himself immune to.

"Do you not understand who I am?" Alpha Grey sneered, his voice still defiant. "I am the Alpha King!"

"Were the Alpha King," the Grey Elder corrected, his voice calm. "And now, you are simply a man standing trial for his cris."
