After taking a punch from Leo Joyce, Cassian Jennings fell silent, looking sowhat defeated.
He backed away a couple of steps, ready to leave.
Seeing Cassian about to walk away, Leo Joyce grabbed him and demanded furiously, "What the hell happened between you and Alia Avery?"
"I followed her out of the Elysian Bar yesterday. Not long after, she just... vanished," Cassian Jennings said, his voice low.
"You useless bastard! You couldn’t even keep an eye on one person!" Leo Joyce raised his fist and swung at him again.
Seeing this, Tiana quickly grabbed Leo’s arm. "Stop fighting! Finding her is what’s important. Hurry up and call Alia to see what’s going on."
Leo Joyce nodded, pulling out his phone to call Alia.
After several rings with no answer, an enraged Leo Joyce moved to hit Cassian Jennings again.
Tiana held Leo back firmly. "Leo, don’t be rash! I’ll call Aiden right now and ask. What if Alia just went ho?"
Leo Joyce slumped back onto the sofa in frustration. After Tiana called Aiden Avery and learned that Alia hadn’t gone ho, she looked uneasily at Cassian Jennings. "Could sothing have happened to her?"
At her words, Leo Joyce’s expression turned cold and grim. He shot up from the sofa and strode out the door.
Tiana saw him leave and hurried after him.
Only then did Cassian Jennings realize he might have made a terrible mistake...
’She didn’t co here, and she didn’t go ho. Alia, where on earth did you go??’
「Half an hour later, Aiden Avery also arrived at Siren.」
This ti, he didn’t imdiately start beating Cassian Jennings senseless like he usually would.
He simply left with Leo Joyce.
Tiana watched Leo Joyce and Aiden leave together. Frowning, she walked over to Cassian Jennings. "Cassian, don’t worry. With Leo on the case, I’m sure everything will be all right."
Cassian Jennings nodded. He ran to his car, jumped in, and prepared to follow them.
Seeing this, Tiana ran to the car as well, saying urgently, "I’m going too."

Leo Joyce and the others first checked the street’s surveillance footage from that night, confirming that a van had taken Alia Avery.
When Cassian Jennings saw the footage, no words could describe how he felt. "I followed that van to a factory, but when I got there, I didn’t see Alia..."
Aiden had been holding back from hitting Cassian Jennings, but now, hearing his words, he finally snapped. He threw a punch at Cassian, then kicked him hard twice. "You bastard! You piece of trash! If anything happens to Alia, I’ll kill you!"
By the ti they all arrived at the cent factory, it was already past five in the afternoon.
When he saw that the factory was completely empty, Aiden was on the verge of a breakdown.
Leo Joyce, however, had shed his earlier rage. He forced himself to stay calm and began searching the area with Tiana.
’Since they confird the van brought Alia here, he refused to believe they wouldn’t be able to find her!’
He would find her, even if it ant tearing this place apart...
The ground was just dirt, so Tiana kept her eyes low as she searched. Her brow furrowed when she spotted a pile of sand in a corner.
She walked toward it. Seeing footprints on the mound of sand, she frowned even more deeply...
Not only were there footprints on the pile of sand, but a cardboard box was sitting on top of it. ’Are they hiding sothing?’
