Chen Wu’s interest was piqued upon learning that his new mission involved capturing a Demonic Pet Egg.
This morning marked the end of the Seven-Day Sign-In System.
Among the rewards, the sixth was [Sacrificial Lamb x1]. And this morning’s reward was… [Fairy-monster Fairy Ball x1]!
[Sacrificial Lamb]: A wondrous ancient soul substitution technique that has been lost to ti. By dripping one’s Blood Essence onto the puppet’s chest, it will take the host’s place in the face of mortal danger, teleporting the host randomly to a location a hundred ters away. (This item is impervious to the opponent’s power and is guaranteed to work 100% of the ti.)
[Fairy-monster Fairy Ball]: Originating from the world of Fairy-monsters and modified by the system to fit the rules of this world, it allows for the capture of demonic pets without using up Demonic Pet Space. Captured pets will not share a ntal link with the host but will obey the host’s commands unconditionally unless released.
Note: The capture success rate is 50%.

Everyone knows that having a multitude of Demonic Pets doesn’t necessarily an a Demonic Pet Master is powerful, but it certainly enriches the potential combinations at their disposal at this stage!
If Chen Wu could acquire another Demonic Pet, it would significantly boost his chances in the upcoming selection for Green-mount Town. He was utterly confident in his ability to defeat any competitor and secure a coveted nomination.
He had been away for three days, and by his calculations, the Battle for Selection in Green-mount Town would comnce in five days.
Despite Green-mount Town’s limited number of small families—just over a dozen—no one would passively watch a precious nomination slip through their fingers.
Gaining entry to the Primary Demonic Pet Academy in Fla City could signal the rise of a prodigy within a family. Should one excel at the Demonic Pet Academy, there might even be opportunities to secure a position in Fla City after graduation and rub shoulders with the city’s elite.
For these smaller families, such opportunities were turning points of a lifeti. Any family with an eligible youth who had beco a Demonic Pet Master would surely send them.
At this age, it was rare to find soone who had achieved the status of Demonic Pet Master. The Hu Family, with Hu Liang as their patron, appeared to have a deep-rooted background. However, their rise to power was too recent, having only obtained a Bloodline Spirit Talisman by exploiting Chen Wu, which allowed Lee Wang to advance. They were no match for the legacy of families that had been around for a century!
Having a few extra aces up one’s sleeve was always a good idea, especially with five days still to go.
Chen Wu didn’t hesitate, declaring, “I’m in!”
With palpable excitent, he eagerly accessed the long-awaited system.
Sure enough, alongside the [Mission] and [Storage] tabs in the Super God Evolution System interface, there was a new [Market] icon.
Clicking on the icon, Chen Wu was greeted by a rectangular interface labeled “Primary Recomnded Interface (refreshes every three days).” A slew of icons lined up before him, each representing today’s system-recomnded items, with detailed descriptions following each one.
[Low-level Healing Pill]: Rapidly heals all physical wounds, most effective on Demonic Pets below Bronze Grade 5. (Exchange Points x 5)
[Primary Healing Spring]: Simultaneously restores physical strength and heals injuries with excellent results, best suited for Demonic Pets below Bronze Grade 5. (Exchange Points x 10)
[Low-level Demonic Food]: Speeds up the recovery of a Demonic Pet’s stamina and enhances its endurance, ideal for those below Bronze Grade 5. (Exchange Points x 5)
[Spiritual Baptism]: An energy recovery skill that, upon purchase, instantly replenishes 50% of a Demonic Pet Master’s Spiritual Energy, effective only for those at the Spiritual Mist Stage. (Exchange Points x 10)
At present, only these four items are available on the Primary Recomnded Interface, all designed to restore the physical strength, injuries, and Spiritual Energy of Demonic Pet Masters. They are quite fundantal, and Chen Wu was particularly impressed by their effects.
“The System’s products are truly top-notch! Hu Wang’s Healing Pills can barely manage to stop bleeding on Blood Rain, but recovery is painfully slow, requiring a generous application to work. The System’s dicines, on the other hand, act instantly. They would be considered premium even when compared to similar dicines in the real world!”

In essence, with sufficient Exchange Points, wouldn’t Chen Wu be virtually unbeatable in battle?
Since the System’s items exist in a state between tangible and virtual, he doesn’t even need to physically retrieve them. A re thought is enough to make a purchase and use the item!
Just imagine Chen Wu in a formal battle where the use of Healing Pills is prohibited; he would still be able to dominate his opponent!
Chen Wu was quite pleased with himself.
“However, I don’t have a single Exchange Point yet. It looks like in the coming days, I’ll need to not only find the Three-tailed Firefox eggs but also work on accumulating more Exchange Points!”
Seeing the zero balance of his Exchange Points, Chen Wu resolved to change that.
“System, where should I look for the Three-tailed Firefox you ntioned?”
He needed clear instructions on the mission location; otherwise, he’d be searching blindly. Phoenix Nest Mountain was not a place to aimlessly roam, and Chen Wu knew that even with Blood Rain reaching Grade 4, he was not invincible. There were plenty of Grade 3 and Grade 4 Demonic Beasts around, and there might even be Grade 5 and Grade 6 ones.
Wandering around like a headless chicken could lead to a disastrous encounter with a powerful Demonic Beast’s territory. Even a Demonic Pet Master with a Grade 8 Demonic Pet wouldn’t dare to wander recklessly. There were rumors of nurous Silver Level Demonic Beasts in Phoenix Nest Mountain.
