The whole Senter Valley was modified and made into a small country which housed over two billion people. Even though it was just temporary, Lan Ming had not spared any effort to make it a comfortable base.
Every single one of the residents here was confused and in panic. Their life was already ssed up and the sudden changes scared them.
So saw it as an opportunity to escape from their enslavent and tried to run, but couldn't do so.
The Senter Valley was very close to the Hollow Mountains and filled with terrifying Spiritual Creatures, so Shen Yu had modified the barrier so that no one could travel through that.
Fortunately, the forr slaves were quickly inford about their situation, which didn't really help much considering they were still sceptical about everything.
After all, who would save miserable people like them? And why? They probably had so ulterior motives, right?
Those were the questions running in their minds as they settled down in the base. They were served a very good, delicious al and were also taken care of, which helped them calm their nerves slightly.
It was then that they saw a giant hologram appearing before them. For people who remained alone, the hologram was small and individual. But wherever a group of people gathered, the hologram beca bigger so that everyone could see it.
On the screen, a young man with a godly appearance sat with a warm smile on his face. Even if there was so cautiousness and fear in everyone's heart, that smile removed everything.
They could feel his intentions sohow and knew the man ant no harm to them. It was an instinctive response, but the majority of them didn't even notice.
Focusing on the hologram, everyone leaned forward to listen to whatever their saviour was going to say. It was important and would possibly shape their future, after all.
While many had already given up on their life, there was still a flicker of hope that yearned to burn even brighter. So, they watched the hologram with their unbated attention.
Shen Yu cleared his throat and addressed the people in his warm, relaxed voice that soothed everyone's heart.
"Greetings, Free n and Won. I am Shen Yu and also the one who helped you in regaining your freedom. I know, it may sound like I'm being arrogant about it, but actually I'm not. I truly feel your pain and sufferings, and that is why I decided to save every single one of you."
His words worked better when combined with his smile.
"I know you are confused, in panic, and lost about your future, but worry not. I have prepared for everything. First, I'll give you a rough report of what happened so you understand the situation clearly. The majority of the people there are familiar with the Slave Organisation, and others simply grew up there so they don't even realise what true freedom is."
He shifted backwards and said.
"Its existence has beco a nightmare for many, but there is no reason to worry now. The Slave Organisation has been eradicated by and my followers, so you will never see them ever again. Every single one of them is dead."
Hearing that, the whole Senter Valley turned silent before erupting in loud laughter. Many didn't know if they wanted to celebrate it or not, but others simply were too happy to care about these things.
All they knew was that the organisation which had tortured them and made their lives a living hell was gone. That was all that mattered.
Shen Yu also didn't speak at that ti, letting everyone enjoy the mont. He could understand their sentints, as he had felt sothing similar when he killed that Gang Boss's son who had enslaved him.
Revenge was a sweet poison.
After lingering for a while, he cleared his throat again, which silenced the whole valley. It was a pin-drop silence, as everyone eagerly awaited his orders.
This was what he intended to do. Getting the desired results, he smiled and said,
"The Slave Organisation is gone, but the Empire is still there. There are still the pieces of shit who believe in slavery and everything you despise. Unfortunately, they are the sa people who are in power, so I can't leave you out there again. I don't need to explain what would happen if I do, right?"
Nobody said a word, but they understood him and agreed too. This damped their mood, as they were reminded of the fact that they were not free even though one of those organisations had been destroyed.
The root problem, the people in power, were still there.
"Haha! Don't make such faces. The Slave Organisation was just the starting point. I will change everything this Empire does wrong and create a new Empire after changing the people in power. But it may take so ti and in that ti, I can't let you out."
He put his chin on his palms and continued.
"I would like to avoid the war, but it's inevitable and I don't want to involve you all. So, I've decided to shift every single one of you to one of the islands far away from the Qing Empire. There is nothing on that Island, but that's a good sign."
Smiling, he said,
"We can just build everything according to what we like. I can't guarantee an ideal society where everyone is happy and all, but I can at least assure you that your life will be sothing you will choose. Nobody will make that decision for you."
He continued.
"I also know that so of you are not in the condition to decide such big things, so I've decided to appoint soone as your leader for the ti being."
The hologram quickly changed with Xu Ming's live video playing beside Shen Yu. The majority of the people didn't recognise him, but those who did gritted their teeth in rage.
Shen Yu understood all of that, and that was why he decided to play his cards right in timing. The people would not accept Xu Ming so easily, but he never expected it to be that easy.
All he needed was to ease the rebellion that might follow when he put him as their head.
