C14 – Prodigy Was Born
Just monts after Wang Shan parted ways with the Tower Protecting Divine Beast, the area outside the tower was teeming with life and clamor.
Onlookers gazed at the illuminated nine levels of the tower and gasped in awe.
Among this new generation of cultivators, why was Wang Shan so exceptional that he managed to light up all nine levels in one attempt?

Just then, the doors of the Nine-level Tower swung open, and a figure erged to the eager anticipation of the crowd.

Envy colored most of those gazes.
The cultivators who had only reached the first level were particularly taken aback, regretting their excessive honesty.
But they knew all too well that even if they had managed to reach the second level by force, they would have been repelled by so imnse power.
Not everyone could be as fortunate or as exceptional as Wang Shan, effortlessly reaching the ninth level unscathed.
In fact, when Wang Shan descended from the tower, his clothes were pristine, without a trace of dust, and his forehead was free of sweat.
This clearly demonstrated that ascending the Nine-level Tower was a walk in the park for him, as simple as drinking water.
It wasn’t long before the crowd noticed the Golden Identity Card in Wang Shan’s hand.
This sight stirred even greater envy among the cultivators.
Why were they issued the standard white identity cards while Wang Shan held the prestigious golden one?
The unfairness of it all was palpable.
Suddenly, a throng of cultivators encircled Wang Shan.
Eight of them, as if by prior agreent, simultaneously challenged Wang Shan to a duel to the death!
Clearly, Wang Shan’s prominence and boldness had made him a target for these eight cultivators.
Hearing their challenge, Wang Shan simply smiled with quiet confidence. “Even if you all co at together, you won’t stand a chance. I can easily defeat you.”
Wang Shan’s statent provoked the ire of eight cultivators.
They had long harbored a grudge against Wang Shan!
In a flash, they began to channel their cultivation techniques, aiming to launch an assault on Wang Shan.

The eight cultivators were unable to execute even a single technique before being turned into ice.

The Tower Protecting Elder, witnessing the fate of the eight ice-bound cultivators, shuddered.
“Wang Shan is truly formidable. At just fifteen, he’s mastered the Heaven Rank Water Condensing Arts to such a degree. He froze eight cultivators in a re second. Had he simply nudged these ice sculptures, they would be nothing but shattered remains by now.”

Thus began the illustrious chapter of Wang Shan’s life. Having illuminated nine lamps, he had already captured the covert attention of nurous formidable figures.
