Thief was a term given to a certain group belonging to the Hidden Path.

The Unknowns who controlled one of the seven deadly sinful Fallen Runes.

The Rune of Greed.

Infamous and cursed with the ability steal life, soul, rune classes and Fallen Runes of their enemies.

The Cult of Greed, the strongest and most insidious amongst the seven unorthodox cults of the Regulator’s society.

Archenemies of the Great House Night.

Why?

There was a saying...

’When the corpse of a Thief litters the dark, just understand that a Child of Shadows has made his move’

With the fall of the Great House Night, having only one descendant left alive.

And the fact that this young assasin, a Rank 2 Fallen Regulator dared to possess a grade 5 Fallen Relic.

It ant one thing.....

The heiress of Greed has been sent to erase the na of the Nights from existence.

Lenny breathed in deeply, faced with an unprecedented situation, this definitely wasn’t sothing he wasn’t prepared for.

He exhaled a soft sigh, his lips curled up "How should we settle this matter?" He asked.

Crystal chuckled softly, she took a step forward "Settle this matter?" She asked, "It’s simple, by killing you....this matter will be settled"

Lenny smirked "I guess that’s the only way" He let out a self depreciating laughter, he clenched tightly onto the Sandel Crimson Dual Daggers.

He was unmoved as Crystal dashed towards him, she vanished into thin air.

Lenny was swift, evading the Fallen Relic powerful enough to cut even his soul into shreds.

He fell back, "It seems I should get serious myself" He exhaled softly, his eyes flickered for a second.

Crystal raised an eyebrow "You weren’t serious all this while?" She asked.

Lenny nodded "Ofcourse" He answered firmly, "Do you think a Child of Shadows would fall so easily?"

In that mont, he summoned his shadow familiar.

X erged from Lenny’s shadow, his gaze remained sterned, unfazed by the fierce Crystal.

Sighting X, Crystal grinned "Oh? I thought you had a shadow clone" She paused for a second, "Isn’t that a familiar?" She asked.

Lenny’s eyes widened in shock "A familiar? You know what shadow familiars are?" He asked, not hiding his shock.

Crystal frowned a bit "You are a Night, the descendant of that man...."

"How is it possible you don’t understand the secrets of the Great House Night?" She asked, "Or are you ssing with ?" She asked.

Lenny giggled softly, he could be seen scratching his bushy hair "I wished I was but I ain’t...."

"I’m starting to realize alot of things were kept a secret from , even before the Nights fell" He sighed.

His eyebrows furrowed "I guess I’ll try to figure everything out after I kill you"

"KENNN!!" Benita scread out loud, her eyes shook, her body shuddered as she watched her man getting obliterated by a single punch.

What had attacked them destroyed half of the Labyrinth with that single attack.

Beads of sweats dripped down Jay’s fear, his heart raced fervently, unable to suppress his fear.

"Ke...Ke...Kennedy is dead....he...he died just like that" Jay stamred, he raised his head.

His eyes glued to the monstrosity that stood before him.

An unearthly knight engulfed in lightless shadows.

A Level 8 Nightmare rank Apocalypse creature.

But a humaniod one.

This was the first ti a Nightmare rank Apocalypse creature was recorded to have possessed a humaniod form.

Although Jay has never t a Nightmare rank Apocalypse creature directly before.

He knew for a certain, this thing was far stronger than even a Level 9 Nightmare rank Apocalypse creature.

It was too terrifying.....

Kennedy was dead, there was no way a Rank 1 Fallen Regulator could survive such an attack from a Nightmare.

Benita had fallen to her knees, stricken with fear, unable to move an inch.

Fril barely controlled her senses, overwheld with fear, she tried to fight back her instincts which begged her to run as fast as she could.

Her eyes bled as she launched a direct attack against the Level 8 Nightmare rank Apocalypse creature.

Aiming to distort it’s senses, to give them chance of escaping certain death.

She succeeded.

She blinded the Level 8 Nightmare rank Apocalypse creature for two seconds but she paid a price.

Even a Rank 3 Fallen Regulator would struggle desperately against a Level 1 Nightmare not to talk of a Rank 1 Fallen Regulator.

The price she paid was permanent blindness!

Fril panted, she bled from both her eyes, her nose and her ears. Her body quaked as she struggled to maintain her stance.

She tilted her head, "JAYYY....KEN IS DEAD, NOT EVERYONE WILL SURVIVE THIS EXPEDITION"

"PLEASE TAKE BENITA AND RUNN!!" Her scream reverberated through the air.

But before Jay could even react..

The two seconds was up and the blindness instantly dissipated, the unholy knight chuckled softly.

"HOW NOBLE OF YOU" Taking a step forward, the dungeon shuddered once again.

"ITS SUCH A PITY THAT LOUSY KENNEDY DIED SO EASILY, I WANTED HIM TO SUFFER FOR SLANDERING THE NA OF THE NIGHTS" The unholy knight sighed.

As it approached them, Both Jay, Benita and the blind Fril dared not move a single inch.

They feared this unholy abomination to the core.

The unholy knight halted as it glared directly at the blind Fril who was seen panting heavily, it sighed "TO BE ABLE TO BLIND FOR TWO SECONDS, YOU HAD POTENTIAL...."

"TO BE YOU TREATED THAT KID LIKE TRASH" And before Fril could even react to what was said.

The unholy knight swung down its hand and she was sliced in half, her blood splattered across the ground.

Benita raised her head, still on her knees, unable to control her tears, she gritted her teeths "You...you...you monster, you will pay for...."

She was easily crushed before she could even finish her words.

Crushed like a bug by the terrifying unholy knight who was shrouded in deep darkness.

Jay was the last mber of the K&B party left alive.

He knew death had co.

There was no way he could evade the chaos that had co to engulf him.

The unholy knight stood tall, it’s shadow enshrouded Jay with ease. It chuckled softly "ANY LAST WORDS?" The unholy knight asked.

"Who....who are you?" Jay stamred, struggled to compose himself as he asked that question.

The unholy knight breathed in deeply "WAS ONCE ALIVE, NOW A FAMILIAR....." It answered.

"A familiar?" Jay muttered, "Are you a Night?" Jay asked.

The unholy knight hoarse chuckle resounded across space "THAT’S RIGHT" It answered.

Jay nodded, he fell down on his knees, with his head bowed before the unholy knight "Accept my apologies, our cris are truly deserving of death" He stated.

The unholy knight nodded, "I’M AWARE OF THAT......"

With that, the last mber of the K&B party.

Jay, a Rank 2 Fallen Regulator of the Spellcraft Path had died.

Watching blood gush out of the headless Rank 2 Fallen Regulator, the unholy knight slightly tilted it’s gaze.

Facing the direction of the boss monster room.

It sighed "SINCE I MANIFESTED MYSELF ALREADY, I SHOULD HELP THAT BRAT A BIT"

"HE SHOULD BE BUSY WITH THAT BITCH"

"I’LL CRUSH THE BOSS MONSTER!"
