Chapter 1302: Possibilities
Davis naturally didn't have any heart or organs to speak of, as everything in his Solitary Soul Avatar was conjured using soul essence and soul force. Even though they were all sothing made from soul force, he could still feel fleshy sensations that a normal body could feel, and the feeling of the heartbeat was one of them, making it feel awfully similar to a real body.
Davis felt extrely uncomfortable over this unnatural beating of his heart that his expression almost snapped under the mask.
"Tell ... What have you done to ?"
"I..." Tina Roxley looked shaken with tears staining her face. She subconsciously shook her head lightly, not knowing what this masked man, no, Alchemist Scythe, was talking about.
"Oh, you're now playing ignorant?"

"What have you done to
using Karma Laws!?" Davis truly snapped the next second on hearing her excuse for the second ti, "What did you make the Mystic Diviner do!? Stop making
feel like this, you obsessed woman...!"
He quickly beca mad, not understanding why he would feel strong emotions for this woman.
What kind of black magic had she cast on him to make him feel like this?
He could only recall that image of sleeping with her, but that was enough for him to feel strong emotions for her? What kind of bullshit power was this? Perhaps, it was even more potent than his Misdirection, the ability to manipulate attention, even emotions using the Karma Threads.
"W-What... are you s-saying...?" Tina Roxley sniffled in an aggrieved voice.
The emotions she felt before this was inexplicable, as if she couldn't feel anymore heartened to have seen him again, but the words he said made her heart plunge into the abyss.
What had she done to be yelled at with hatred by him?
She couldn't understand as she kept heaving for breath as she soundlessly cried like a little, aggrieved girl.
Davis beca exasperated as he saw Tina Roxley cry.
Not only was she feigning ignorance, but she wanted to hide under tears now that she had been found out?
Nevertheless, he felt like he had to calm his emotions down. Otherwise, he was aware that he couldn't tell if she was lying or not with his Heart Intent. He put his anger for her aside and began calming himself down using his willpower. Within five seconds, he cald down, his emotions becoming calr as a ripple less lake.
He reached out his hand to remove his mask. His hair changed to blonde color with the cleansing of his soul force while his face beca revealed, looking handso yet cold, his sapphire eyes simply looking as it was staring into Tina Roxley's very soul.
Tina Roxley beca stunned as she looked at his face. It was this face that she wanted to see the most in all these years. She had never seen Alchemist Scythe removing his mask before, but now that she had seen the face under the mask, she was convinced!
It was him! He was the man that fate had decided for her, but yet sohow, it beca void, altered, leaving her feeling empty sowhere in her heart all this ti.
Intense emotions welled up within her as she experienced a chill, but the words he said made her lower her head in contemplation. She couldn't help but feel that she had to grasp this chance no matter what to confess all she knew about their future! No, their past!
Davis felt like he could continue the conversation now that she looked like she had stopped crying, but the next second, his emotions beca overwheld by her strong emotions towards him, causing him to lightly flinch.
'Are you kidding ...? I'm at the King Soul Stage... How are her emotions powerful enough to overwhelm mine!?' Davis instantly stopped using Heart Intent to stop being influenced.
He beca more and more convinced that she had done sothing to him using Karma Laws to affect his emotions.
Davis recalled reading about a branch of Karma Laws, perhaps a combination with another particular law, giving birth to sothing known as Hex or Curse Laws. Not much information was provided on it, but it said that it was sothing rare like his Heart Intent, and not many people knew about it because it was even rarer than soone comprehending Heart Intent.
Could it be that he had been hexed to feel strong emotions towards Tina Roxley?
Davis's expression beca a bit unsightly as he thought about this possibility. He instantly felt like using Fallen Heaven to enslave her so that he can know the thod to undo this hex. However, he stayed his hand as nothing was verified yet.
Besides, how could he not notice if sothing had been done to him?
Even if it was that Mystic Diviner who had done this to him, he could easily know sothing had been implanted in him considering that the Mystic Diviner had a lesser Soul Forging Cultivation than him, not to ntion that it was difficult to get past Fallen Heaven's senses.
Even if he failed to sense a hex, Fallen Heaven would've surely picked it up, but when he asked if it felt anything strange, it said that only its powers had grown a bit, unsure of its own answer before he checked that it had really grown.
So, a hex was unlikely as he quickly denied it, and in the sa way, shouldn't an attack that contained Karma Laws be easily picked by him as he was already proficient in Karma Laws using threads? Even if it was a different branch, surely, he should be able to sense it, but he didn't as the strange images flashed through his mind, as if...
Davis felt his head hurt as he shook his head, his sapphire eyes staring at Tina Roxley. His own emotions were becoming a bit confusing when he looked at this woman, and her emotions were intense, easily overwhelming him.
Whatever he thought of now seed unlikely with a few revelations after coming here because Tina Roxley's and Aurelius's cultivation was lower than his, unable to affect him much unless they used so kind of heavenly resource as a sacrifice.
Moreover, even Heart Intent beca useless, and he now had to rely on his instincts to know if she was lying or not. At this mont, Tina Roxley raised her head, looking determined even though her lovable athyst eyes still appeared moist. Her fingers twitched, and the Lesser Five Elents Killing Formation above her trembled before it beca unstable, looking as it was about to explode before it receded back into the formation core underneath the bed.
Davis beca surprised, "Oh? Have you decided that I'm not a threat anymore?"
"You are not..." Tina Roxley heaved a breath as she stood up from the bed, boldly walking up to him as her eyes glazed with innurable emotions.

Davis's fists clenched as he felt unnatural. However, he smiled as his lips moved.

Tina Roxley's expression shook, his words making her feel awful but with his outburst and the trajectory of fate changing, she knew that sothing had gone wrong. She could see that he had gravely misunderstood her, and she wanted to prove that she was not what he claims her to be.
Nevertheless, a tear shed from her eyes as she released a breath, "I'm not wrong. You are my husband. At least, you should've been..."
Davis narrowed his eyes, "What do you an...?"
Tina Roxley took a deep breath again, calming down her intense emotions as she wiped her tears from her face.
"Ever heard of Divination?"
Davis's eyes further narrowed into two tiny slits as he quickly understood, "You used that Mystic Diviner to divine your future...?"
He knew that Mystic Diviners could divine one's past, present, and future, as well as use unearthly arts to use Karma Laws to attack, defend, and support. These were the basic things he knew about them.
Tina Roxley nodded her head but then shook, "I didn't use Uncle Aurelius, but he wanted to improve his skills, and I wanted to know what the future held for

Tina Roxley stared at Davis with her athyst eyes as she raised her hand, pointing her lithe index finger at his face, "You... this face..."
Davis's heart shook while Tina Roxley continued.
"It's uncannily similar to the man who made my life happier amidst the ss I was born in, almost making love with
in the divination I saw! I won't ever forget nor mistake soone else for it!"
"It was you!" Tina Roxley's expression severely shook as her hands trembled, "It could be no one else but you, Alchemist Scythe!"
"!!!" Davis took a deep breath as he felt nothing but disbelief in his heart, mind, and soul as he heard Tina Roxley's bold and assured voice.
He didn't know what to make of this, but he also felt like this could be true, considering the strange image he had seen about sleeping with Tina Roxley but then why it was shown to him at that particular mont of breakthrough?
Could it be just as he thought that Fallen Heaven's Karma Laws had drastically experienced an improvent and, in turn, invoked sothing in him, making him know or warning him how the trajectory of his original fate had changed?
He had already theorized how Fallen Heaven had the possibility of continuously changing fate every ti he had used it, so he felt that Tina Roxley was not lying as well. However, he found this difficult to believe, making him confused, his thoughts becoming a tangled ss from thinking all sorts of possibilities.
