When Gu Qingyao turned her head, the man smiled and said, “Miss Gu, it’s really you. I haven’t seen you for so many years. You haven’t changed at all. You are still as beautiful as ever.”
Gu Qingyao was sure that she did not know this person. She smiled and replied, “Do you know
?”
The man laughed and said, “Many years ago, I was fortunate enough to et Miss Gu at a banquet. I already thought that you were an outstanding beauty then. So many years have passed, but I’m still unable to forget you.
“I saw you from afar and thought you looked like Miss Gu, so I ca over, and it was really you. It’s an honor to et you!” The man extended his hand and said politely, “How do you do? I’m Chu Yi!”
Gu Qingyao shook his hand lightly. “Gu Qingyao!” Chu Yi withdrew his hand and could not help but brush it with his fingertips. It had been so nice to hold that delicate little hand in his palm.
A pity that it was just a light touch!
Chu Yi said, “Was Miss Gu dissatisfied with her life overseas? Why did you co back to China?”
Gu Qingyao leaned against the counter and looked at Little One who was playing wildly. She laughed. “My ho is here. I was only studying overseas. Once I finished my studies, of course I had to co back.” Chu Yi said, “But the living conditions overseas are much better. Your mother and the others are also overseas. You did not have to co back at all.
“The living conditions here are too poor. Miss Gu, isn’t it hard on you?” “No!”

“The environnt in China is so dull. Miss Gu, aren’t you bored here? There is so much more freedom overseas and many forms of entertainnt. Things are much more conservative here. Oh, by the way…

“I haven’t really held a job. My family is wealthy enough, and I don’t need to do much. I’ve studied dicine for so many years, so I occasionally treat a few patients and charge for consultation.”

Gu Qingyao paused. “Oh? Does Mr Chu really think so?”
Chu Yi said earnestly, “Of course. When I first saw you overseas, I felt that you were different from other won. Your self-assurance is your greatest charm. That is related to your abilities.
“I even heard that Miss Gu has excellent dical skills and gained so fa overseas. Think about it. You were still studying then! You were so young, but you had already achieved so much. If you had a little more ti to grow, Miss Gu, you would have shined like a
