The mountain moved, Feng Bailing could hardly believe it as she looked beneath her feet.

Earthquake, Feng Bailing’s first reaction was that it was an earthquake.

But she quickly realized that it was not just a simple earthquake.

The ground beneath her feet was still calm; it was the snowfield that was not.

From the direction of the mountain peak, there ca a roaring sound, like thunder.

The noise ca from the direction of the peak, growing closer and louder, as if thousands of troops were charging down.

There couldn’t possibly be any army ambushed atop the mountain; the only possibility was...

Feng Bailing stepped on the snow underneath her feet, finding it thick and loose.

An avalanche!

Feng Bailing’s face changed color; if there was an avalanche, almost no one in the mountain peak area would survive.

On the cliff side, Hua Wushang, who was using the Blessing Technique to control the White Wolf, also felt an unusual tremor beneath his feet.

His heart chilled, he turned back to look towards the direction of the mountain peak.

Indeed, he saw a large amount of snow rushing towards the cliff side like a tidal wave.

An avalanche!

Hua Wushang’s face suddenly looked very ugly.

Why did it have to be at this ti?

Dacang Mountain was very high, and avalanches in previous years were not uncommon, but it was unexpected that an avalanche would happen at this ti, as they generally occur at the end of winter and the beginning of spring when the temperature rises and triggers the avalanche.

But it had just begun to enter winter, so why would there be an avalanche out of nowhere?

The situation was sowhat strange, but at that mont, Hua Wushang had no ti to think so much. Once an avalanche occurred, even he would find it hard to escape, for the power of nature was terrifying.

The Dacang Monkeys beside him were already panicked and running around in chaos. Hua Wushang was distracted, the Wen Energy around him started to weaken, and through clenched teeth, he squeezed out two words.

"Retreat."

The ground shook and the mountain swayed; Dugu Xiaojin, who had almost been tad by Hua Wushang, also suddenly beca alert.

Snow from the peak was rushing in this direction, Dugu Xiaojin broke out in a cold sweat, knowing he had to leave imdiately to save his life.

But Dugu Xiaojin frowned; Dongfang Yong was still in the Snake Cave.

The avalanche was coming violently, and it was likely that even the cliffs would be buried.

Then Dongfang Yong down in the cliffs would surely die.

Dugu Xiaojin glanced at the cliff, pushed off with his feet, and flew toward the Snake Cave below the cliff.

At this mont, Hua Wushang had already begun to prepare the Dacang Monkeys to retreat towards the middle of the mountain.

He looked back and saw the White Wolf heading towards the Snake Cave, a cold glint flashing in his eyes.

He knew that having missed this opportunity to ta the White Wolf, there would be no next ti.

At this ti, the Horned Snake should be resting.

Since it couldn’t be tad, then let the Horned Snake have a feast, after swallowing a beast with a Wuji Earth Seal, the Horned Snake should imdiately turn into a Jiao.

A cold smile lifted the corners of Hua Wushang’s mouth; he took out a leaf and blew into it.

Unlike the last ti, the sound from the leaf was no longer beautiful, it was piercingly sharp, making one’s soul tremble.

The mont the sound was made, the Horned Snake, originally lying down and sound asleep in the Snake Cave, suddenly woke up.

It raised its head, bulging its eyes as large as lanterns, and saw a person standing in front of it, as still as a wooden chicken.

The emotions in Dongfang Yong’s heart at this mont were simply indescribable!

He stared dumbfounded at the awakened Horned Snake.

Seeing soone had actually broken into the Snake Cave, the Horned Snake was furious with sha and anger.

Its scales spread open one by one, and a pair of lantern-sized eyes emitted a ghostly green glow.

Not running now would an becoming snake food.

Dongfang Yong didn’t dare to delay any longer; he pushed off the ground with his feet and dashed toward the cave entrance.

But the Horned Snake was faster, and its tail whipped out like a fierce wind.

With a loud bang, the stone wall beside Dongfang Yong was smashed into a huge pit.

Rock debris soared, as sharp as knife blades, scraping past Dongfang Yong’s cheek and leaving a deep gash on his face instantly.

The Horned Snake eyed Dongfang Yong with predatory intent, ready to pounce the mont he took a step.

Dongfang Yong licked his sowhat dry lips, summoned up his Gang Qi with a hoarse sound, and hurled his iron fist towards the Horned Snake.

After punching the Horned Snake, Dongfang Yong felt an intense pain in his fist and saw that his knuckles were split open.

The snake, having eaten so many corpses infused with both Wen Energy and the bodies of Wuji Masters, had an incredibly strong physique; the punch had no effect on it.

The Horned Snake launched another round of attacks, making it very difficult for Dongfang Yong to move inside the small cave.

Another loud noise as the Horned Snake’s tail struck Dongfang Yong, sending him flying out of the cave.

A white figure rushed in, stabilizing his form.

"How did you get here?"

Dongfang Yong turned and saw that it was the White Wolf.

"The snowstorm above has caused an avalanche, we need to move fast!"

The White Wolf spoke.

A wave of unexpected warmth surged through Dongfang Yong’s heart.

Avalanches were extrely dangerous, and the White Wolf, instead of running away, had jumped into the Snake Cave to warn him.

"You seem to have a strong sense of loyalty."

Dongfang Yong cracked a smile.

He didn’t have many friends; apart from Hong Xuan and Feng Luochen, there was only the White Wolf before him now. Due to earlier issues with the rcenary Corps, there had been so tension between them, but he let go of that in the mont.

"But I cannot leave yet."

Dongfang Yong shook his head, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth.

Dugu Xiaojin surveyed the conditions within the Snake Cave, and his expression turned somber at the sight of the bodies strewn across the ground.

In a corner, it found a Token, quietly picked it up without making a sound.

"I’m even doubting whether the head of Yuxiu Academy was deceiving . There’s no Martial Technique here."

Dongfang Yong complained.

Dugu Xiaojin didn’t agree; Lady Nan Shiu was his father’s good friend, and they had known each other for many years. Dugu Xiaojin also knew there was no reason for Lady Nan Shiu to deceive Dongfang Yong.

With the White Wolf joining in, the Horned Snake gradually started falling behind.

At this mont, the sound of a flute ca again, its pitch rising and falling. Accompanied by the flute, the Horned Snake’s attack pattern changed once more.

Dugu Xiaojin keenly observed that although the Horned Snake was a serpent, its attacks were like those of a Martial Artist—offensive and defensive, seemingly employing a kind of Martial Arts.

"Pay attention to its attacks; perhaps this is the Martial Technique you’re looking for."

Dugu Xiaojin’s reminder made Dongfang Yong take a closer look and realize the Horned Snake’s attacks were indeed unusual.

He watched the attacking Horned Snake closely, morizing its offensive and defensive patterns, and gradually a new Martial Technique began to take shape in his mind.

The Parasitic Bee Queen buzzed as it flew into the Snake Cave.

Xiaojin already knew that the avalanche was nearing and that soon the Snake Cave would be subrged.

"There’s no ti left; we need to jump now."

The White Wolf spoke, and then leaped out of the Snake Cave. Dongfang Yong hesitated, gritted his teeth, and also jumped down the cliffside.

Just as Dongfang Yong thought they were definitely going to die this ti, sothing caught them mid-fall; a vine wrapped around his falling body, and on the other side, the White Wolf’s limbs were tightly entwined by several hanging vines.
