Chapter 36 : Dragon Claw Guild

After burying his old common grade items in the hands of QueenBee, Axton still did not escape her pestering.

He had already rejected her offer to join her guild as well as the one for a friend request but still, QueenBee still lingered.

"Okay, okay," QueenBee said, almost in surrender like she was about giving up trying anymore.

However, that was not the case at all.

"At least, help out with a dungeon raid."

Axton’s interest in the matter piqued that instant.

Now, she was talking!

"One of my guild mbers found a dungeon but we would need help clearing it."

"That has nothing to do with , you know," Axton replied to the subtle request.

’What an arrogant one,’ QueenBee thought, already exhausted from dealing with Axton’s pride.

Ordinarily, people wanted to mingle with her once they found out who she was but Axton didn’t seem to care.

If anything, she felt like he was pushing her away.

"We are willing to share the drops equally if you agree," she proposed an enticing deal.

Axton’s interest in her discussion piqued at this point.

He turned to her with a half smile on his face. "You should have led with that, you know."

QueenBee smiled and extended her hand. "A deal?"

Axton rose from where he sat and shook her hand while nodding.

"It’s a deal."

QueenBee and Axton arrived at the dungeon where so people were already present and waiting.

In front of them was a swirling gate of light bluish energy, with two big pillars bordering its sides, that served as entrance into the dungeon.

"It’s about ti, you know," one of them pointed as he rose from where he leaned his back, relaxing his arms that were crossed over his chest as he walked towards QueenBee and Axton.

Reaching a certain distance, this player stopped after reading the na that floated on Axton’s head.

’She wasn’t bluffing,’ he thought, taking a sharp glance at QueenBee. ’She really managed to convince Khan to get on board.’

"Hehe," QueenBee laughed lightly and started hopping happily to where the rest of her team were waiting for her.

As Axton walked by, he locked eyes with this particular mber who had co to them first.

Taking a quick observation of him, he noticed that above with his na, an icon seed to also hang there.

It was a symbol with three claws over the side view of a dragon head.

He read the player’s na in his mind and continued moving forward, not bothering to exchange any words with him.

When he approached the group, he noticed that they all had similar symbols like the previous guy.

"This is our guild," QueenBee said to him. "We are called Dragon Claw."

’Dragon Claw?’ Axton took a quick look across the mbers present. ’Hmm. They seem more organised than those other guys and I dare to say... stronger.’

A quick count and Axton was already making sowhere between forty to fifty mbers in front of him and their average levels were about level 4 to 5.

They were certainly strong.

"QueenBee," the player who was under Axton’s gaze earlier called as he approached QueenBee.

"Yes, Hart."

"Can I have a minute with you?"

"Sure."

Hart and QueenBee stepped away from the group for a mont to talk.

Hart looked over QueenBee’s shoulder for a few seconds to make sure that nobody was eavesdropping on their conversation.

"How did you do it?"

"Do what?"

"Co on," Hart replied. "You know what I an."

He gestured towards Axton’s direction with a nod.

QueenBee, on trying to turn around to look, felt Hart’s hands on her shoulders.

"Co on, don’t look!" he said. "He will obviously know we are talking about him."

QueenBee smiled cutely and tilted her head to one side. "I told you I would. Let’s go back and get this over with."

Not wanting to spill any contents of her agreent with Axton, QueenBee dragged Hart by his wrist and walked back to where the group gathered.

"As you already know, this is Khan," QueenBee introduced Axton to the group.

So of them stared at him with disbelief in their eyes, while others looked at him with profound admiration.

They were all surprised that the strongest player in the ga was teaming up with them.

"He will be doing the dungeon raid with us and I’m sure we know what that ans. Mission successful!"

"Yes!" they cheered simultaneously.

"With him here, it wouldn’t be a problem to clear the dungeon," one whispered to another.

"If only he can beco one of us."

"I heard a rumour that he beat the entire Grand Nexus guild."

"Shh! That hasn’t been confird yet."

"Even though. We all know Silva and his gang hate his guts."

"They say he summoned a giant bird during the battle."

"I heard it was a dragon."

"A dragon? That’s not possible! It’s still too early in the ga."

"Really? He kills high level monsters like flies. At this point, I don’t doubt it though."

The mbers of Dragon Claw guild were filled with fresh spirit and confidence knowing that Axton would be entering the dungeon with them.

Seeing how much these people respected QueenBee, Axton couldn’t help but study her a bit more.

By this, it was proven to him that QueenBee was likely more than ets the eye.

He could tell that she was rich and pretty. It was not far from the expected that people would want to be around her but he never anticipated that it was to this degree.

’They are a far cry from those guys,’ Axton thought, comparing Grand Nexus mbers and those of Dragon Claw in his head.

They held no hostility towards him, neither were they brash or vulgar in their words and dealings with each other.

If anything, they were mostly respectful and calm.

Axton valued that from them.

He could see that they admired him, perhaps for what he had achieved or whatever their reason was, but he did not feel any envy or jealousy from them towards him.

Pulling himself back to reality for the matter at hand, Axton cleared his throat.

"Ahem... what kind of dungeon are we looking at?" he asked.
