Chapter 112 : World Event (2)

All around the globe, guilds started preparing.

Top guilds gathered their best mbers and stocked up on potions and scrolls. Smaller guilds begged to join bigger alliances. Everyone wanted a piece of Anarnia.

Even Grand Nexus, one of the most dangerous guilds in the world, was getting ready to move.

Inside their base, players put on their best weapons and armor. Their faces glowed blue from the light of teleportation runes.

Among them stood one man—calm, but with fire burning in his eyes.

He slowly adjusted his gloves, and a dangerous smile appeared on his face.

Kiran.

He had been waiting for sothing like this. Sothing that would let him face Khan—or rather, Axton—again.

He tightened his belt and walked toward the portal. His thoughts were cold and sharp.

’Let’s see how many of us you can keep out...’

Across New Eden, excitent mixed with tension. This wasn’t just any event—it was the beginning of sothing massive. Players knew that whatever waited inside Anarnia would change the ga massively.

And at the center of it all was one man — Axton AKA Khan.

The player who had beco Mayor of Atlas City. The player who had triggered the first World Event. The player everyone now had to go through if they wanted a chance at glory.

Inside the Ancient City of Anarnia, Axton stood alone in the glowing ruins, completely unaware of the chaos he had just caused across the entire world.

All he knew was that he had stepped into sothing big.

Sothing ancient.

Sothing dangerous.

And there was no turning back now.

Many of the players hadn’t lost hope.

Even after being rejected over and over again by the teleportation circle, they still tried their luck one last ti and much to their surprise...

...it finally worked.

[Location: Atlas City]

[Teleportation successful]

[Welco, Player ####]

[You are now in Atlas City]

The glowing notifications repeated hundreds of tis over in different locations, lighting up the screens of players all across New Eden.

It didn’t take long before word spread — the teleportation circle to Atlas City was finally active for everyone.

No more rejections. No more denied access.

For the first ti since the event began, hope returned to the hearts of players.

The chat boards exploded in excitent, and even those who had given up earlier began to rush back, determined not to miss out.

Apparently, for so unknown reason — or perhaps due to the system recognizing it as a World Event — Axton’s authority over entry and exit from Atlas City had been temporarily overridden by the ga itself.

It made sense. If this was a world-scale event, it wouldn’t be fair for a single player to decide who could join and who couldn’t. The system had simply restored balance... and chaos followed imdiately after.

"Let’s move! Entry into Atlas City is unrestricted now!"

"That’s more like it. It didn’t make sense for one person to have that much power."

"What if he opened it himself?"

"Maybe he’s feeling confident that we can’t touch his contribution score. What a cocky guy."

"He can’t be that strong. Thousands of players are joining this event. He’ll be crushed."

"I finally made it to level 15! I can actually join this one!"

Excitent erupted across New Eden.

Players from every corner of the world — from top guilds to casuals still learning basic skills — rushed toward their nearest teleportation circle.

And one by one, glowing white light swallowed them up as they disappeared toward Atlas City.

******

Clank!

Two swords slapped against each other, the sharp ring echoing through a forest. A red-haired player stepped forward, laughing as a dozen Dire Wolf corpses lay scattered around him.

[Na: Sword_SaintX]

[Guild: The Parliant]

He was none other than Sword SaintX, the Guild Master of The Parliant, one of Europe’s top-ranking guilds.

"So the gates to Atlas City are open now, huh?" he muttered, wiping his blades clean and sheathing them.

"I’ve always wanted to et that guy called Khan, or whatever na he’s going by. Guess I’ll get my chance sooner than I thought."

He turned to the group of players behind him, each one belonging to his elite strike squad.

"Move out. We’re heading to Atlas City."

"Yes, Guild Master!"

With that command, they activated their teleportation privileges, vanishing in flashes of blue light like many other players all over New Eden.

All around New Eden, the sa scene repeated.

Top guilds, rising stars, and ambitious solo players all converged toward similar destinations.

They left behind dungeons, raids, and quests, their priorities shifting instantly to this event. Whatever was waiting inside Atlas City — power, loot, fa — was enough to make even the strongest drop everything.

"Hahahahaha!"

A booming laugh echoed from another region, followed by the sound of cracking flas.

Kiran stood beside a teleportation circle, his cloak fluttering in the hot air. His face twisted into a grin that bordered on madness.

"I knew that fraud couldn’t do it! He doesn’t have the guts!" he roared, his voice filled with venom. He had waited days — no, weeks — for this mont.

The mont the system announced open access to Atlas City, Kiran’s long-buried fury towards Axton reignited like wildfire.

Once, Axton had personally denied him entry, humiliating him in front of his subordinates.

He’d sworn a new revenge that very day, adding to the grudge he already bore towards him.

And now, he finally had the chance to carry it out.

"He’s not a god," Kiran muttered darkly, his eyes blazing. "He’s just another player. Even he can’t handle us all."

He raised his arm dramatically and pointed at the teleportation circle in front of him.

"Let’s go, boys! Off to Atlas City!"

Dozens of players around him cheered, shouting Axton’s na with hatred, and swearing fire and brimstones upon him.

Whatever their reasons, they all shared one goal — to get into Atlas City and claim whatever rewards awaited inside while simultaneously handling their "Khan problem".

anwhile, within Atlas City itself.

Hart stood quietly on a high balcony, watching the horizon as the air above the teleportation plaza shimred. One after another, glowing pillars of light erupted as new players arrived in waves.

"What the hell is going on...?" he muttered, frowning.

Monts ago, the entire city had been calm. Now, it was chaos. The city bells were ringing, and the air humd with the presence of hundreds — no, thousands — of incoming players.

’A World Event?’ Hart thought, opening his system nu. ’Did Khan trigger it? Or did the system take over?’

He couldn’t make sense of it, but one thing was clear — Atlas City was about to be flooded with players from all over.

Click!

Hart tapped open his chat window, his fingers flying across the screen.

He quickly composed a ssage to Axton.

[Hart: Hey, what’s going on? The teleportation circle’s gone crazy. Everyone’s coming here!]

His brows furrowed as he hit send, waiting for a reply.

But none ca.

Outside, the teleportation lights continued to flash.
