The little guy curved his eyes and asked again, "Uncle, do you have kids?"

Huo Shaoyan’s face was gentle as he nodded, "Probably about your age, he’s an older brother."

While speaking, he pulled out his phone, asking as if the little guy had forgotten he was lost, "What’s your na? What are your mom and brother’s nas? Or if you rember your mom’s phone number, I can help you find her quickly."

"My nickna is Huanhuan, my full na is Huo Chenghuan, ’Chenghuan’ as in ’Chenghuan at the knees.’ My mom’s last na is An, and her number is 159..." Huo Chenghuan rattled off, pointing at the cola beside him, "Uncle, I’m a bit thirsty."

As Huo Shaoyan dialed the number the little guy ntioned, he beckoned a waiter, "Get her a glass of fresh juice."

The little girl pouted, "No, Huanhuan wants cola~"

Huo Shaoyan raised an eyebrow. Looking at her eager little face, he relented and poured her less than half a glass of cola.

At that mont, the call finally connected.

Huo Shaoyan spoke first, "Miss An, your lost daughter is with . I’ll send you the address."

About half a second later, two words ca from the other end of the phone. It was as if they traveled across endless mountains and rivers, crashing into his eardrums, "Thank you."

Huo Shaoyan’s heart felt like it was torn in two by a sharp object, the bleeding bringing out an intense pain. That voice, it was just like hers!

But she was already dead.

She had tornted him for five years with her death.

Every deep night, he woke from nightmares of her dying tragically in flas, the years passing, forever tornting him.

"Huanhuan, mom said not to drink carbonated drinks."

A little boy slightly taller than the girl walked over from who knows where.

He was very thin, with delicate features, seemingly more composed than the little one in his arms.

Huo Shaoyan stared at the little boy for two seconds, just about to ask sothing when the small one who was sitting on his lap slid off joyfully, hugging the boy, "Brother Qian, where’s mom?"

As the words fell, the sound of slightly chaotic high heels ca from behind Huo Shaoyan.

He instinctively turned, or rather, everyone looked toward the source of the sound of heels.

"Huanhuan."

With the approaching heels of the woman ca a soft and gentle voice.

Except for Nan Xiao, there was a different degree of shock on Xiao Chaofeng and Huo Shaoyan’s faces.

Oh, to be precise, the shock on Huo Shaoyan’s face wasn’t intense—only the fork he had been holding dropped to the ground.

As he bent down to pick up the fork, he seed to hear the sound of his heart being torn to pieces.

Soon, the woman stood before him.

At that mont, she bent down to pick up Huo Chenghuan, who was acting coy with her.

Her face was so close, and compared to five years ago, apart from this face, not a trace of familiarity remained, not even her scent, which felt strange to him.

Huo Shaoyan could no longer suppress the overwhelming emotion in his chest. He suddenly stood up, his eyes red as if about to bleed.

He heard his own voice trembling almost to the point of breaking, "Is it... you?"

The woman seed not to recognize him at all. Looking at him with a complicated expression, she spoke only after a while, "Sorry, and you are?"

"Mommy, he’s Uncle, he’s a very nice person. Huanhuan got lost and asked Uncle for help, and Uncle helped Huanhuan find Mommy."

The little one was probably too heavy, and the woman struggled to hold her.

She put the little one down, then took each child’s hand, the boy on the left, the girl on the right.

Huo Shaoyan’s Phoenix Eyes watched them, a voice inside him screaming out.

So, she didn’t die back then; she staged her death and escaped with a pair of twins?

But why co back now?

Why does her daughter carry the surna Huo?

An Ge didn’t know Huo Shaoyan’s true thoughts, but she knew she had achieved her purpose of making a high-profile appearance with her twins at the wedding.

Five years. She finally had the courage to return.

She really wanted to say to Huo Shaoyan in a dignified manner, "Long ti no see, ex-husband."

But, no need to hurry—she would say it to him eventually.

She needed a part of his body to save her daughter’s life, yet she didn’t want to risk her entire life for it. She also didn’t want him and the daughter to acknowledge each other.

Therefore, she had to advance carefully, luring him into her sweet trap, willingly giving her that part.

In just a few seconds, An Ge’s mind turned over a thousand tis, quickly returning to reality.

Hence, after Huo Chenghuan’s words, she said to the little one, "So, have you thanked Uncle?"

Huo Chenghuan obediently said, "Thank you, Uncle." She paused and then added toward Xiao Chaofeng, "Thank you, Uncle, too."

An Ge glanced nonchalantly at Nan Xiao and then withdrew her gaze.

What she said was addressed to Huo Shaoyan, "Sorry, the hotel is too big, the children were a bit naughty, so they strayed here. I hope we didn’t disturb you."

After speaking, she told the two kids, "Ah Qian, Huanhuan, let’s go."

Soon, she walked quite a distance with the two children.

Just as she was about to entirely leave the banquet hall, a strong force seized her wrist from behind.

Almost at the mont she turned her head, she was pulled in front of the man.

He was very strong; if An Ge hadn’t released the children’s hands in ti, they might have gotten hurt.

She was a bit annoyed, "Sir, please behave."

Huo Shaoyan’s throat rolled intensely. After a while, he spoke hoarsely, "Sorry."

After he said that, he fixed his gaze on the curious Huo Chenghuan and asked An Ge, "You can pretend not to know out of hatred, but I want to clarify a few things. Can I have a few minutes of your ti?"

An Ge raised an eyebrow, smirking slightly, "Sir, what’s your last na?"

Huo Shaoyan, looking at her smiling yet aloof face, felt a strong voice in his heart.

Did she genuinely not recognize him?

Or was she just that good at concealing it?

But those things didn’t matter—none of it mattered at all.

After his throat rolled several tis, Huo Shaoyan answered each question honestly, "My last na is Huo."

An Ge curved her lips, her smile seed more vibrant, "What a coincidence, the sa last na as my dear."

Huo Shaoyan’s whole chest shook again, his voice subdued with intense emotion, "Dear?"

At this mont, Huo Chenghuan answered his question, "Uncle, ’dear’ is mommy’s boyfriend. He is my and brother’s daddy."

Huo Shaoyan felt a dull pain in his heart, unable to calm down for a long ti.

At this point, he crouched down, aligning his gaze with Huo Chenghuan.

His eyes turned a bit red, and deep moisture seed hidden beneath.

Huo Chenghuan curiously asked, "Uncle, what’s wrong? Are you about to cry?"
