Lucas’s eyes widened as he entered the room to find Olive standing there, half-naked, frozen in place. His gaze darted away quickly, but the smirk that tugged at the corners of his lips didn’t escape her notice.
"Do you just love walking in on when I’m half-dressed, or what?" Olive snapped, her face flushing red as she scrambled to grab the duvet, clutching it tightly to her chest.
"I knocked," Lucas replied casually, though his eyes flickered briefly in her direction before he tossed a towel her way. "You just didn’t hear . Anyway, here’s your outfit. You should probably change into it."
He laid the clothes on the bed before turning on his heel, giving Olive a chance to shove him out of the room.
"Whatever," Olive muttered under her breath. She snatched the towel from the bed and forcefully pushed him out, locking the door with a loud click. After retreating to the bathroom, she leaned against the door, her heart still racing from the encounter.
As the warm water cascaded over her skin, Olive’s mind wandered back to the events of the previous night, or at least the fragnts she could recall. Had she almost drowned? The details were murky, but what troubled her more was the nagging suspicion that sothing else had happened, sothing Lucas wasn’t telling her.
When she finished her shower, Olive quickly dressed in the black trousers and white shirt Lucas had laid out for her. She threw her now curly brown hair into a bun and glanced around the room. Lucas was gone, but the breakfast tray he’d left remained on the small table by the bed. She hesitated, then sat down and picked up a piece of toast, nibbling on it absently as her thoughts swirled.
"I’m going crazy..." she murmured to herself, throwing the toast aside in frustration. Grabbing the yogurt, she made her way out of the room, needing fresh air and answers.
Downstairs, she found Lucas casually leaning against the kitchen counter, chatting with staff mbers she hadn’t seen the previous day. He glanced up as she approached, a wide, playful grin spreading across his face. Olive couldn’t help but notice that he was also dressed in a white shirt and black trousers, identical to her outfit. She scoffed but decided not to comnt on it.
"Ready to head back?" he asked, his tone light, though his eyes still held that sa intensity from earlier, making her heart skip a beat despite herself.
"Yeah, let’s go," Olive replied, trying to keep her voice steady as she walked past him toward the door. Lucas followed her out to the black Camry waiting for them, both settling into the backseat in silence.
The ride back to school was tense, the air thick with unspoken words. Olive kept her eyes fixed on the road, but her thoughts were all over the place, always drifting back to Lucas. Her mories of the previous night were foggy at best, and his behavior was doing nothing to ease her mind.
"You planning on staying silent the whole way back?" Lucas’s voice finally broke the heavy silence, pulling her from her whirlpool of thoughts.
"What’s there to talk about?" Olive folded her arms across her chest, turning to face him. "Wanna tell what really happened last night?"
"We slept together. That’s all." Lucas’s response was casual, too casual.
The chauffeur, who had been quietly minding his own business, glanced through the rearview mirror in surprise. Slept together?! His expression visibly shifted from neutral to confused.
"Can you explain what you an by ’slept together’?" Olive shot back, her voice laced with frustration. "Because that could an a lot of things."
"What do you think it ans?" Lucas smirked, his eyes locking onto hers, a teasing glint dancing in them. "Relax, nothing dirty happened. Get your mind out of the gutter."
"So, we just slept? Nothing else, right? Nothing... sexual?" Olive pressed, her curiosity tinged with irritation.
Before Lucas could answer, the car ca to a sudden halt in front of the school, causing both teenagers to lurch forward from the force of the stop.
"Could you be a bit more careful?" Lucas snapped at the chauffeur, annoyance flickering across his face.
"My apologies, young masters," the chauffeur mumbled, his face still a mix of confusion and disbelief. From his perspective, the conversation about "sleeping together" sounded much more scandalous than it was intended. He could hardly believe it, especially because he thought of both Olive and Lucas as boys.
"We’re here," Lucas said, his tone calr now as he unbuckled his seatbelt and got out of the car. He flashed Olive a smile, the sa infuriating smirk he’d worn all morning. "Hurry up, or you’ll be late."
Before Olive could respond, he strode off toward the school building, leaving her standing beside the car, fuming.
"That jerk!" Olive cursed under her breath, quickly getting out of the car and chasing after him. But by the ti she entered the crowded hallway, Lucas had vanished. Frustrated, she scanned the crowd until she spotted Lara walking toward her.
"Hey! You’re finally back," Lara greeted her with a bright smile. "What’s going on? You look... frazzled."
"It’s Lucas!" Olive blurted, her face flushed with frustration. "He’s driving insane!"
Lara raised an eyebrow. "What happened?"
Olive took a deep breath and launched into a recap of the morning’s events, including the awkward mont in the bedroom, Lucas’s cryptic comnts, and the tense car ride.
"And then he just keeps dropping that bombshell ’we slept together’ every ti I ask him about what happened last night!" Olive finished, her hands flailing in exasperation.
Lara’s eyes widened in intrigue. "Wait, did you guys actually... you know, do the deed?"
Olive stared at her, stunned. "What? What are you talking about?"
"You know... did you two have sex?" Lara asked, leaning in closer, a sly grin spreading across her face. "I an, we all know he’s into you. And you guys were alone last night..."
Olive’s eyes flared with indignation. "That’s ridiculous!" she shouted, not caring that several students in the hallway were now staring at her. "That could never happen!"
"Okay, okay, calm down," Lara said, raising her hands in a mock surrender. "But why couldn’t it happen? If it did, maybe that’s why he’s been acting so smug all morning. You’ve seen the way he’s smiling. He looks like soone who just won the lottery."
"That’s insane! How could I lose my virginity and not even rember it?" Olive’s voice wavered, frustration giving way to confusion and anxiety. "It’s my first ti and there’s no way I wouldn’t know how it went."
Lara’s expression softened, and she placed a comforting hand on Olive’s shoulder. "Maybe you should talk to him, get a straight answer. If sothing really happened, he owes you the truth."
"I hate that he’s ssing with like this," Olive muttered, her voice trembling. Tears welled up in her eyes, but she quickly wiped them away. "I feel so... stupid. And he’s just enjoying watching suffer."
"Hey, don’t beat yourself up," Lara said gently. "Co on, let’s get you into your uniform. Then we can figure out how to deal with this. We’ll get to the bottom of it."
As Lara guided her toward the dorm, Olive couldn’t help but feel like the ground beneath her was shifting, leaving her unsure of what was real and what wasn’t.

anwhile, Jessica’s drugs had circulated through the entire school, becoming an underground hit. Students who had never touched drugs before were now addicted, spending tons of money on the newfound high as well as the ones who love taking drugs from the onset.
Aiden sat alone in the 3RM special room, his eyes glued to his laptop screen. Anabella’s sex video played on a loop, and with it, images of Rachel and Peace naked but not engaged in any activity.
"Should I leak this now or wait until they’ve all destroyed themselves with their drugs?" Aiden mused, his lips curling into a wicked grin. "Maybe I’ll let them fall deeper before I expose it to the world."
His laugh echoed through the room until a violent cough interrupted it. He quickly brought a handkerchief to his lips, staining it with a mouthful of blood.
"Is it the chemo? Or am I just getting worse?" Aiden muttered to himself, feeling the weight of his illness bear down on him. "Whatever it is, I’ll face it head-on."
The door to the 3RM room suddenly swung open, and Aiden hurriedly closed his laptop. Lucas strolled in, still grinning from ear to ear, his thoughts clearly elsewhere. He didn’t even spare Aiden a glance before flopping onto his bed, lost in his own musings.
Annoyed but determined to stay focused, Aiden reopened his laptop to deal with the file only to realize, to his horror, that it had already been posted to the group. Worse yet, it had gone viral across multiple platforms.
