The mont Olive stepped into the school building, Lara pulled out her phone and dialed Mark, who answered and imdiately put the call on speaker.

"She says she’s extrely busy and doesn’t want to go anywhere with . She has schoolwork to do," Lara complained, her body tense with frustration.

"What? What about all the surprises?!" Lucas’s voice ca through from the other side.

"I don’t know. She’s being stubborn," Lara said, exhaling sharply. "I have schoolwork too, and yet I still found ti to help plan her birthday surprise."

"I’ll be there soon, Lara," Lucas replied, his tone decisive. "If we have to drag her out of there, we will." With that, he ended the call.

Half an hour later, Lucas arrived in a black Camry, stepping out with a black sack in hand.

"Where is she?" Lucas asked, his gaze fixed on Lara, who had been waiting for him outside the school building, refusing to go inside.

"She’s in the library," Lara replied, frowning deeply. Her eyes then fell on the sack. "What’s with the bag?"

"You’ll see," Lucas said with a smirk. "Co on, let’s go get her."

They headed inside the school building. As Lara had said, Olive was in the library, her head buried in a book. Without hesitation, Lucas approached her and, without warning, threw the black sack over her head, startling both Olive and Lara, who hadn’t expected this.

"Let go of ! Help!" Olive scread, struggling against the sudden assault.

Lucas grinned, lifting her easily onto his shoulder. The library workers and students looked on but didn’t interfere, it was Lucas, the heir to the school, and no one dared challenge him. So even seed amused by the scene unfolding before them.

"Looks like the red card’s about to make an appearance," one of the students whispered.

"Those scholarship students. It’s been a while since Lucas ssed with them."

As Olive heard the murmurs, she realized it was Lucas who had grabbed her.

"Let go, Lucas!" she yelled, thrashing against his grip, but it was useless. Lucas carried her out of the library, down the hall, and out of the school building. He finally stopped by the car, where he set her down montarily, only to knock her unconscious before placing her in the back seat.

"Done!" Lucas said, clapping his hands together as if he’d just accomplished sothing great. He turned to Lara, who was still in shock. "Let’s go!"

"Uh, yeah..." Lara muttered, snapping out of it. She climbed into Mark’s Maybach while Lucas got back into his Camry, and soon, both cars sped off down the street.

A few minutes later, they arrived at a grand hall and made their way in. The space had been transford into a lavish birthday venue, complete with balloons, strears, food, drinks, and gifts stacked high like a Christmas tree.

"Woohoo... so this was your big plan?" Mark asked, eyeing Lucas, who still had Olive draped over his shoulder. He quickly pulled a chair to the center of the hall, allowing Lucas to place Olive down.

"What else could we do? She’s stubborn," Lucas said with a smirk, leaning in close to Olive, his face just inches from hers. "She looks so beautiful when she’s sleeping. She always does."

"Yeah, yeah. You’d know since you two share a dorm," Lara teased, rolling her eyes.

"Olive’s going to kill you both when she wakes up," Mark warned. But before he could say more, Olive began to stir.

Her eyes fluttered open, landing first on Lucas’s face, which made her imdiately scowl in anger.

"Happy birthday, beautiful!" Lucas said with a triumphant smile that could have lted anyone’s heart. Olive’s scowl softened, though she was still clearly disoriented.

"You know..." she started, her voice trailing off, though the irritation lingered in her tone.

"Happy birthday, Olive!" Mark and Lara chid in, stepping closer, their faces beaming with excitent.

Only then did Olive shift her gaze away from Lucas and take in the grand hall. "Wait... you guys actually kidnapped ... for this?" she asked with a light chuckle, still a bit overwheld.

Lucas chuckled. "We just made sure you didn’t miss your own party."

Mark and Lara both grinned. "Surprise!" they said together.

"This is... amazing," Olive whispered, her voice filled with awe.

Lucas extended a hand to help her stand. "We wanted to make this day unforgettable for you."

Olive smiled warmly and gave each of them a heartfelt hug. "Thank you so much, guys."

"All the thanks should go to Lucas," Mark interjected, nodding toward him. "He made all of this possible."

Olive turned to Lucas, her eyes softening. "Thank you, Lucas," she said, giving him a warm hug. But as she tried to pull away, Lucas didn’t let go. He held her tight, resting his head on her shoulder.

Lara cleared her throat loudly. "Okay! Let’s get the birthday girl into her dress so we can start the party." She grabbed Olive’s hand, pulling her away from Lucas. "We’ll be right back!" she called over her shoulder as she led Olive into a private room off the hall.

_____

The room was just as lavishly decorated as the hall, minus the food. Several won dressed in sleek suits were waiting, one holding a beautiful black floral pleated dress, others with makeup brushes, shoes, hair products, and accessories.

The won bowed slightly when Lara and Olive entered, and both girls returned the gesture.

"Ready to be pampered?" Lara asked with a grin as Olive was led to a luxurious bathroom to freshen up.

After her bath, Olive returned to the room, where the team got to work. One woman styled her hair, while others applied makeup, fitted her with accessories, and helped her into the stunning dress.

By the ti they finished, Olive had been transford into a goddess. She wore the black floral pleated dress, paired with silver jewelry and matching black shoes. Her once curly hair was now sleek and adorned with delicate silver beads.

"You look absolutely stunning!" Lara exclaid as she looked up from her phone, now dressed in a white crop top and black pleated skirt, paired with white sneakers. She led Olive to a full-length mirror, where her reflection took her breath away.

A warm smile spread across Olive’s face. "I barely recognize myself."

"Yeah you’re a goddess! Lara said, her tone serious prompting Olive to chuckle.

The music from the hall had already started to play, filtering through the walls.

"Alright! We shouldn’t keep the boys waiting any longer," Lara said with a playful smile. Olive nodded, and they both made their way to the door, ready for the party to begin.
